iRobot Roomba - a Stunning Success

These Robots have been around for a few years and so have I. I recently moved into a new apartment and was faced (for the first time) with doing the cleaning! So off to Currys and a Dyson! This in itself was good but I'm a modern kind of guy (read lazy) and doing the vacuuming just wasn't for me!
Then one day - Zut alors!! The chance to buy the "Bachelor's Dream" - a robot to do the housework - or at least some of it. Zipper-de-do-da and eBay had introduced me to a life changing event.
Once it arrived and I recharged her, off she went - yes, sorry she's a girl robot. Her first foray took her all over the apartment and under the bed! She brushes, bumps and bashes and really does clean up as she goes (yes, this proves she's not a he) all to the accompaniment of huge screams and whoops of laughter coming from me and my specially invited guests - yes I've even had a party at which she stole the show although it was MY birthday!
For almost an hour she had her audience captivated at her irratic bumbling but strangely efficient actions. Does she know where everything is or does she just guess? And at the end of her journey she neatly parks herself away in her docking station, hums a tune and recharges ready for next time! Wow! a woman who does exactly what she is supposed to, with a smile and happily finds her way home! (Sorry girls!)
I have to say that I am convinced that, if a meteorite wiped out the dinosaurs and the Moon missions gave us Teflon coated saucepans, then it was some other celestial being that has given us Roxy the Roomba Robot - Oh yes I'm smitten and have named her - could marriage be just around the corner? Watch this, rather clean, space.
