
iRobot Roomba 530 Robotic Vacuum warranty

This is second Roomba I have owned -- the first had many problems -- poor build quality,unreliable and overall troublesome -- believing I may have bought a lemon I tried the newer 530 after reading reviews and it is not much better - tangling,locking up,unreliable,ever demanding maintenance -- spares expensive -- battery lasts no where near as long as promised.
ONE THING TO BEAR IN MIND IF PURCHASING A ROOMBA, IROBOT WILL ONLY HONOUR A WARRANTY IF THE ROOMBA WAS FROM AN AUTHORISED RETAILER --- CONTACT THEM ON IROBOTEUROPE.COM -- EBAY AND THE MAJORITY OF SELLERS (TRADE OR NOT)ARE NOT AUTHORISED DEALERS AND YOU MAY HAVE DIFFICULTIES EVEN WITH ORIGINAL RECEIPTS,EVERY ROOMBA HAS A PRODUCTION NUMBER ON THEM AND THE MANUFACTURER KNOWS THE ORIGINAL RETAILER --- WARRANTIES ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE --- GIVE THEM A RING/EMAIL --- THIS WILL BE CONFIRMED.AT LEAST SEND A MESSAGE TO ANY SELLER ON EBAY TO ASK IF THEY ARE LICENSED BY IROBOT. I FOUND THIS OUT AT MY EXPENSE !!!
