
My new phone.
I had to buy a new phone as the old one gave up the ghost after 10 years good service. The new phone is better, as it has a volume control and I, being hard of hearing, need a better quality of sound. This has now enabled me to stop saying "pardon" or "say again" so much. It took some time to get used to answering when there was a call, but I managed to remember to answer by pressing the volume button. Now I can also choose not to answer when I don't recognise the callers number, and if necessary call them back if they have left a message. I do not answer callers who have witheld their numbers, so life is much improved with this new instrument. I am very pleased with my new toy.
