Most of my Video cards are ATI, since I don't run Vista and DirectX 10 I went for this card instead of an 8800GT (more expensive too!). I paid less than £20 for my example, the ATI x1950 which I was looking at is a shade quicker, goes for much more. The eVGA 7900GT overclocked "knock out version" had some great reviews and is close to the GTX version for speed. The card runs cool and is quiet and the graphics are noticeably better than the ATI X800gto it replaces.
Make sure you have an adequate power supply of around 500 watts with >20 amps on the 12v rail. All in all a good card for general use and gaming.

) I would like to point out that these graphic cards are very good, epically when sli-ing with 2 of them. I bought them because I wanted to take my gaming to the next level. Since I bought them I have played and completed over 50 games with out any problems. I am using vista Ultimate x64 bit 4 gig of ram and Asua m2n sli deluxe with dual core 6000+. Both of the cards are running so sweet. I have tried and tested them under all O/s with out any glitches. If you can't afford the top dog graphics card then I would say think about this graphic cards as they won't let you down in any way shape or form.
