Whenever a very different sounding album like 'Back to Bedlam' comes along, and it sells in millions (as it indeed did), inevitably you get the success backlash. I'm sure that this is the reason most 2nd albums are unsuccessful but never the less I tried to have an open mind with the release of 'All the lost Souls'. From the poppy '1973' through to the emotion provoking 'Carry You Home' (which is easily as good as 'Goodbye My Lover' and a great deal less 'sickly sweet' than 'Beautiful', and to the easy listening sunday morning 'coffee and papers' of 'Shine On', this is an excellent follow up to one of the best breakthrough albums of recent times. If you liked Back to Bedlam you will like All the Lost Souls...Fact.

It was hard to follow up after an excellent first album, but James Blunt has done it. This album lives up to all expectations - great songs and lyrics as expected!

went to see mr blunt a couple of weeks ago and he was excellent... as is this album!!!!! a must buy. i was as impressed with this album as i was the first.

i think this is James best cd by far, he and the Band really put their heart and soul into that one, just listening to them makes me forget all my worries, its a natural relaxing healer!

The album is just great. It has fantastic songs and they are well written and with good melodies. I couldn't find fault at all. It is very unusual to find a new album where every song is good, THIS is one of them.

What a corker the first album was -everyone a winner -I had to put this on my Christmas list just in case he'd managed to come close to his earlier 'magic'. This album is fantastic -yes he's done it again, each song is beautifully written and is instantly likeable -no 'growers' here. The man is a genious (and is just so 'jolly' likeable -did you see him on Al Murrays Happy Hour?) Wonder if he can do it again...?!

I like James Blunt - great music, intriguing lyrics, if a little risque on the language - and at least he's done something else in his life.

Fantastic, brilliant, what an amazing voice James has got, seen him live and he is just as good live as he is on his recordings ... can't wait for the next album already!!!

This album is brilliant. With 10 fantastic and different songs that are well written and with really good melodies, i couldn't fault it in any way. It's unusual to find an album where you love every song, but this album is one of them.

Beautiful crisp recording with plenty of wonderful background detail, low volume sounds perfect or turn it up loud and feel the emotion!

Bought as a gift for someone else, i hadnt really been that interested before in James Blunt. I am now completetly hooked. This is an amazing album, great lyrics, full of meaning and emotion. Havent taken it out of the CD player since Christmas.

This is a great album from a forthcoming artist, as good as if not better than his previous album, variety of songs and some great new songs, overall brilliant album would recommend to all

This is a really good CD, its just as good, if not better, than the first CD.
The only thing that lets it down is that its not long enough!! Cant wait for the next one!

This CD has turned out to be one of the best Cd's I have bought. Due to the fact that most music is available to download at next to nothing I dont but many CD's these days, however this CD was well worth every penny. The tracks are modern, tunefull, and audiable rather than dull, boring, loud and depressing! Highly reccommended!

Great album. Great range of songs. I prefer this to his debut album. Only lasts for 39 mins though!! Definitely worth a listen even if you are not a big fan.

i have the especial dvd edition and is pretty good, the songs are just amazing never heard an album with so many good songs

great album ,bet he s not missing the army...it is one of those albums that grow on you ,not as good as his debut album tho

This another great album by james. The songs are not quite as catchy as back to bedlam album yet it is still a great sing along. Bought it as i am a james blunt fan and love his music

James blunt may have disapered for a year but he returns with a stunning secind album, with a mix of songs, with his smash hit 1973 and same mistake, great album seriously recommend
