Sony Ericsson W200i Mobile Phone

The w200i is a fantastic, easy to use and stylish phone.

The walkman function is easy to use, however the software has faults such as after you put the music on it will not let you access it saying "you have used the wrong software", but this can be fixed by playing and stopping a song on "now playing".
The joystick is easy to use.
The camera is simple, and fairly good.
It doesn't have bluetooth, and I haven't used the infrared yet.
The organiser has many useful functions.
It has a good fm radio.
The games keep you entertained and so does the music and photo dj.

All in all, this is a fantastic phone with good features

GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY PHONE LOTS OF GADGETS EASY TO USE. WALKMAN IS VERY GOOD AND THE CAMERA IS AESY TO USE AND TAKES A GOOD PICTURE. THE KEYS ARE QUICK LARGE AND EASY TO USE. THE SCREEN IS VERY CLEAR. ALL ROUND A VERY GOOD PHONE.

COOL STYLE,IT IS A SONY ERICSON WHICH MAKES A GREAT PHONE. I DECIDED TO BUY IT BECAUSE IT WAS CHEAPER THAN THE OTHER PHONES.

I like the mobile phone, although there was a common problem with the phone that was explaned AFTER the purchase that i thought would have been better if explaned in the description to save any problems. but on the whole great!

it is a good first phone for somebody or for the person who does not like too many packed with feature phones.nice sleek phone with economical price.it is a basic phone with compare to many sony ericsson phone available in market.

Bought for my 10 year old daughter, the phone is perfect as a first phone with really good features.

A little expensive for what it is - but you do get a basic VGA cam and a MP3 player - which are always a bonus at this side of the market.

The screen graphics are not clear as the phone trys hard to be something its not. Basically this is a budget Sony phone trying to pretend to be a more expensive unit.

I was a little dubious about buying the W200i as I always considered it to be the poor relation to the higher end Sony Ericsson mobiles I usually buy. Recently, daughter was unlucky enough to have his MP3 player stolen so rather than look for another player, we had a look around and thought we'd give the W200i a try.

Result! My son loves it, doesn't use it to make many calls but with the addition of a 2gb memory card, it's now in use full time as an MP3 player! He's used the camera for school projects quite successfully so that has been a bonus. We found and installed an updated set of camera drivers which has improved picture quality 100% from what it was.

Only real downside is the lack of Bluetooth but music can be easily and quickly copied to the phone via the memory card reader.

Overall, it's an easy phone to use, so would be ideal for the younger user. It comes with some pretty good applications pre-installed and the hands-free headset works well giving pretty good sound from both the MP3 player and built-in FM radio.

Anyway, don't take my word for it, go buy one while they're still cheap!

For me this i a perfect mobile.Sony ericsson are my favorite.Cheap,great batery,plus extras if you need them.

am kite happy with everything but the usb cable is the main part of this device as there is no bluetooth. in the other hand its unlocked to any network

this phone is very easy to use. the sound quality of the music is very clear.
it is a good phone for kids.

I was very disappointed with this purchase. I thought I bought a phone for my son but it was only a charger and computer software.

I bought this item for my little sister, and to be honest, it's just what she needed!
A simple to use little Sony Ericsson, which does everything that a phone should do!
Has all the basic features it should have (minus Bluetooth, although does have Infared!)
I truly believe that Sony Ericssons are the best phones on the market, and they are the most reliable.

I was after a new phone, and it had to be cheap. I spotted this phone for sale bnib and thought I would get it. Well it is true " you get what you pay for ". I didn't research the phone before I brought it, I wish I had now. 1st impression when I got the phone out of the box was wow, it was really small & weighed next to nothing. I though it would of been bigger at least. Ive gone to transfer some music off my old phone and I was searching every where for bluetooth, I couldn't find it anywhere so I had to use the infrared set up which took ages. I had a look on the net about this phone to discover there is no bluetooth. The camera quality is poor, for a walkman phone it is extremely quiet and the joystick is awkward to use. this is why I say you get what you pay for. If you want a cheap no frill's phone then this may be the one for you.

This little mobile is amazing, it plays mp3 with megabass(which gives your songs a great sound), FM radio, customizable agenda, video recording/playing, etc., the same as the w800i/810i except the 2MPx camera and bluetooth.
Here are my Pros:
1) Cost, you can get it as cheap as 25 pounds
2) Same w800i/w810i functions, specially the mp3 player
3) Small, almost the size of a credit card.
4) Memory expandable, up to 4GB.
My Cons:
1) Display of 65000 colors, which will show your pictures not so shiny, and video a little dark.
2) Camera is <1MPx, and speed/resolution of video capture is low (and NO auto-focus), so hard to take clear and sharp video/pictures.

Considering that the average MP3/MP4 player is around 18-30 pounds, this mobile is the BEST DEAL !!!

the phone was not good enough to my liking, that doesn't mean everything you buy from ebay is bad, so this time my item was not to my tast so i am sending it back to the owner, it had everything but the picture and video was not a good quality. At first the price was ok, that was the reason i bought it

The music facilities are excellent, picture quality is adequate and there are lots of extras such as games to keep my daughter amused.

The Sony Ericsson W220i is a neat and user-friendly phone with a host of features. It has a camera, MP3 player, radio, polyphonic ringtones etc. In fact, it has everything except for Bluetooth.
The menus are not quite as brilliant as on a Nokia phone, but still relatively easy to find your way around and the joystick makes light work of browsing all the screens and features that the W200i has to offer.
The camera is quite decent compared to many mobiles, I find this phone extremely useful and certainly one of the ebst I've ever had.
The only improvements could be adding Bluetooth functions and for it to be a little funkier in design as it perhaps a little bland. This phone looks much better in white and orange, although the black and orange is alright.
Overall, an excellent phone and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

i just liked the look of the phone i lost my old one so i thought i would get this one its been great

The mobile phone is small and has all the main features needed to describe it as good reliable phone. The mobile phone is slim and compact. You would not be able to believe that sony erricson were able to fit so many features into such a small and compact design. The phone is easy to use and there are no complicated features that may cause confusion. Overall it is a very easy mobile phone to use. I would highly recommend it as it is a very good price aswell and i am a ganduuuuu

having purchased a walkman 200i phone from a seller who does not like to leave feedback i thought great start.the phone is a handy little phone, light and easy to use. the player side is what you would expect from walkman, spot on.if you are a music phone lover like my daughter you cant really go wrong.the only down side to this phone is the lack of bluetooth. so buyers beware sometmes you see people selling bluetooth items for the w200i do not trust them. the phones overall life and use is good. easy to use, easy to see. clear sound. overall i give this phone 8/10 which would have been higher if it had blue tooth. the last thing to mention is these phones can be brought cheaply the cost of getting them unlocked at this moment in time can be more expensive than the phones themselves.

I bought this because I was told I would be able to unlock it, and it was a good price. However, nobody can unlock it so its now a useless phone that I cant use and the retailer wont take it back!
