Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console

Graphics are much better than I believed them to be , better than the DS by far . The console feels more comfortable in your hands even though it is heavier than the DS . Gameplay is extremely fast , overall I am mighty impressed .... WTG Sony !!!!

i bought this psp for my sons birthday' but he nagged me every day till it arrived ! wish it had buy now as it arrived 3 dys after his birthday!!

Recently my daughter dropped her PSP on a solid floor and damaged the motherboard. Her borther's PSP had stopped reading UMDs a few days earlier. Having an engineering background, I decided to kill two birds with one stone. By searching on eBay, I found a PSP in good working order that had a damaged screen. It cost me £47 including postage. The PSP arrived two days later and a after few hours, both my daughter (9 years old) and my son (7 years old) were jumping up and down with joy, thanks to eBay, I made both my kids very happy and saved alot of money.

I purchased this PSP for my daughter as a Christmas present (starting early this year). The item was delivered very quickly and was in excellent condition with all accessories (bar memory stick).The PSP console is unrivalled in its field my daughter had a DS which recently stopped working and i took the decision to replace it with the PSP.

The PSP does everything it is an Ipod, dvd playerand handheld games console rolled into one small, but powerful package and when you add to that list the wi-fi capabilities you begin to undertsand why it is so far ahead of it's competitors!

If you or your loved ones are into gaming, music, or movies and want the convenience offered by a portable console then look no further than this little gem. Sony have produced a real winner with this invention it will be an all time classic!!

i brought this psp 4 my nephew who as always wanted one i like the price and the 8 games i got with it

I bought this for my son's 11th birthday plus we were due to fly to Spain,it was fantastic entertainment for the journey!! As my son suffers from ear ache on descent, for the first time in ages I had a peaceful flight as he way busy watching a film any didnt notice we were near to landing.
I would recommend anybody to buy one for children and adults of all ages,for the first time I can buy film's and games quite reasonably cheap compared to XBOX or WII.
Being small and portable its ideal for car journeys,planes or home entertainment.
Best thing I have bought in a long time!!

psp which i bought for my grandson for christmas is in perfect condition boxed looks like it had never been used the games are also in perfect condition all at a cheaper price than i could buy at home there is not a mark on either psp or games

i think its brilliant, realy fun easy to use! its so small you can fit it in your pocket and literally play it anywhere! i decided to buy it coz a few lads from wok already had 1 and when we're quiet we all have a game. highly recomended they're grrreat, just like frosties!

I decided to buy my son a PSP for his birthday and thought the best place to look was on e-bay.
For less than the price i would have paid for a new one i got a PSP in really good condition ( like new!! ) and i also got 3 games, 3 dvd movies and loads of accessories aswell.
Great buy again from e-bay!!!

This is a Excellent product, the best from Sony. It has everything we need from a console, and it is portable, just great.

I had not purchased any"gadgets" on e bay before but had purchased many other items. I wanted to get my son a psp so decided to get one on e bay. I was very pleased with the price especially as it had 3 good games with it. My son was very pleased with it and used it a lot on holiday as the weather was very wet!
It was not difficult to bid and i was pleasantly surprised when i won it quite easily.

An under-rated idiot proof gadget that, after 3 years simply wont go away.

Theres the Original FAT version & a later SLIM version and they come in piano black - white - silver.Yeah they play games, we all know that but its great for loading up your music collection and photos & handy connection to the www if your in a wifi zone (thanks to all those Muppets that dont WEP protect their wireless routers - THANKS GUYS!!!). You can also listen to radio on it and watch video.

Battery life can vary - its claimed up to 6 hours but generally you'l only get around 3 hours when using memory heavy 'busy' applications. Turning off the Wifi if you dont need it saves loads of battery life. There are options for saving battery life if you scroll through the menus.




It twins up well with your PS3 and a Sony package is just being rolled out to use your PS3 as a slingbox to your PSp - basically it should let you remotely control your PS3 from your PSP anywhere in the world (with Wifi) so you can stream video & TV and stuff.

Finally, and you probably already know this, there a lot a fuzz over which version of Firmware (thats basically the operating system) you should use: Sony would like you to have their latest but this can prevent your PSP doing certain things YOU may want to do with it. A warning, if your going to mess around with your Firmware be careful of not turning your PSP into a Brick: its called bricking and you'l know wen you've done it because nothing happens wen you turn your PSP on. Just Google PSP Firmware & have a look at Youtube for ideas.

If your really keen there's a pretty nifty GPS adaptor for your PSP allowing you to use it as a SatNav.

Ive heard some people get varying experience from Sony Customer support but Ive never had problems. My 7 year old nephew though his PSP needed cleaning so he washed it in the bath ! It was returned to Sony and for a small charge they sent a clean refurbished replacement - cant say better than that (except maybe John Lewis' exceptional service LOL)

If your buying one on Ebay - ask about dead pixels & what version of Firmware is installed. Ask if its from a smoking household. What games come with it? Also beware to ask if the Memory Stck is MAGIC GATE compatible - some people are selling PSP's with counterfeit memory stcks that arn't - Memory sticks can be pricey but theyre coming down in price all the time. You really need a minimum 1 Gig to store a decent amount of misic and pics - get the biggest you can afford. Theres stuff on Youtube on how to spot fake Memory Stick Duos - beware theres a lot of counterfeits being sold by Chinese & HonkKongers claiming they live in the UK ... or they are living in UK as students and selling counterfeit Memory Sticks for relatives in Chia etc to make a few xtra bucks. BEWARE

Get a USB interface cable off EBAy - youl also find a combined USB interface & charging cable allow you to recharge fron a USB port on any machine - theyre about £3 or €4.

Ive had different experiences using on aircraft - some airlines will allow play if the Wifi is off- some dont care - some wont let you use them at all. Easycr*p & RyanCouldntCare have allowed me to use it if Wifi is off - not sure about Quality Airlines tho.

So to summarise. A cool gadget - aclassic design timepiece up there with Lucky Strike - Ford Model T & the Original Coke Bottle

It may not be up to the graphics of the new consoles but it sure could compete with one because it's basicly everything like an ipod, dvd player, camera and console in one, how god is that!

it is very good and i play on it everyday and i hope someone else gets one from here because it was a reasonable price

IT'S BRILLIANT. HE SCREEN IS A GGOD SIZE AND THE GRAPHICS ARE EXELLENT. OLDER GAMES CAN TAKE A WHILE TO LOAD BUT NEWER GAMES LOAD REALLY QUICKLY.

the item i won is in perfect nick. usually you get a little wooried of what the condition of the item will turn up like. but in the end, was worth more than sold for. im very happy with my item.

very handy,i can move around with it without any hassle.i ve nt yet found any probs.all i can say is for you all to get one cos it's very engaging & u don't really ve to be worried about anything,it's also got wifi so u can browse

Good for spending time while travelling, a destroyer to bordem! Keeps the user well entertained and is a great gadget to obtain. One disadvantage is the battery life, but you can buy cheap battery power packs off ebay for a few pounds. Other than that and ofcourse the money you put towards it, its still a well worth handheld console that wont disappoint you!!
