Report this review Review created: 06/03/08 by: Despite the preconfigured album information saying "Released: 1995", this album is apparently from 1984. The CD might have been released in 1995, but that's not obvious from the provided information. So, this is from 1984, and it sounds just like that. I looked it up and it is Don Henley's second solo album. Personally, I was a little bit disappointed because I only knew Don Henley's 2000 album "Inside Job", which I absolutely love, and was expecting something along that lines. Well, that's not the fault of this album of course. If you like the music of the 80s and/or Don Henley, the album might still be enjoyable. After listening to it a couple of times, "The Boys of Summer" is the song that sticks out the most for me. The rest of the songs is enjoyable, but not especially great. More pop than rock and Don Henley's strong voice is not so much in the center compared with "Inside Job". Review ID: 10000000006021490 Was this review helpful?
