This is a great film to watch that has you very interested in it at all times, just as you think you have got the story how you think it is going to go they always seem to change it so you are never sure who is goin gto do what or when they are going to do it.

I personally couldn't wait for this film to finish.
Damien Lewis as an American - not good, but he got better as the alien creature took over him & he lost it!
The alien creatures were appallingly bad.If you like alien creatures this will appeal but the storyline is boring the aliens suck and it really is not a great film, watch it only if there is nothing else on the telly.

the most shocking film ever shown on tv brought it because trailer for it looked good but wasnt no story line no great acting a load of crap

For a stephen King film this is very, very poor, storyline is weak and childish. Morgan Freeman is wasted in his bit part role.

Great story line, great actors. If you are looking for something without the 'boy meets girl thing' then this is the film for you.
I have been a Stephen King fan for years and just out of curiosity I watch the ones that are converted to film. The only 2 worth watching are.... this one and Pet Sematary. Watch out for those aliens - they could be anywhere.

if you are into your alien movies then this a must see !!!!!!! a fantastic movie!! jason lee from my name is earl and damien lewis plays a great part as well as the rest of the cast !

A fantastic film! An alien film with a difference! Damian lewis is very freaky, and jason lee is as sexy as ever! i'm not going to tell you about the film, otherwise why buy it?? But if you liked Signs, then this film will please you as well!

After I read the book by stephen King I had to see the film, Which was a disappointment. The film lacked at least a third of the story from the book, but the special effects made up for it, a bit.
I'm glad I didn't pay full shop price, thank god for Ebay!

Its one of only a few films made from a book that works great story with an excellent cast Morgan Freeman, Thomas Jane, Damian Lewes, Jason Lee and more Four friends sruggling with life meet in the Maine woods for their annual hunting trip. When a stranger stumbles in to their camp disoriented mumbling things about lights in the sky the four friends put in a struggle with a psychotic army colonel and a being that has taken control of one of their minds. I recommend this film to anyone even if you just watch it once you will not be dispointed
