The greatest films ever IMO

Before I start the main review, let me tell you that I was biased towards liking these films before I saw them, since I am a bit of a Mafia "fanboy" (if such a thing exists). However, the small amount of leeway i was ready to give the films proved completely unnecessary as I was blown away by how fantastic they were.
Before the endless praise begins, I had one slight, niggling complaint about these films, specifically the first one, because ordinarily I hate watching a DVD with subtitles except if it's a foreign film, because I end up concentrating on the subtitles and not the film. In the first film, I was forced to use subtitles a lot of the time because I couldn't understand what on earth Marlon Brando was talking about! Tat was my only complaint about the films, though.
Now for the good points: The scripts are solid, the characters are flawless (yet flawed in a way that makes them human), there is a perfect blend of action and explanation, the story is carried to the end with no loose plot threads left, the perfect actors were selected the roles, the camera work is brilliant and the sets are diverse and exciting. Basically, but for the cotton wool lining Brando's cheeks, these films would be perfect in every way. They are close enough to make them all must-have purchases, and to merit a score of...
