Armageddon (DVD 2001)

i loved it, great acting by all the cast, i was bawling like a baby at the end. i bought it because it was recommended to me by one of my workmates.

o.k so i'm starting with CLASSIC in every review i'm doing, but this definately is. its got something for everyone., love, drama, comedy, action, tension....it's great.
bruce willis is one of my fav's and he does his typical...I'm a tough man...act, and ben afflect does his...i'm a hotty... so i like it!
you must of seen this...if not, why not, buy it!!

If you have never seen this film, you have too! It is amazing. Although it gives the impression of being sci-fi, it has very little sci-fi in, the main plot follows the relationship between a Father, his Daughter and her Lover. A very emotional and gripping film.

From start to finish your gripped by the action and suspence your thrust into, whilst it is clearly very Americanised and far fetched it still provides as an entertaining vice for the night in with the lads or the night with the girlfriend. Trying not to use the cliche of something for everyone, but this is one of those little gems that really offers that, high octance moments of action providing for classic 'on the edge of your seat moments' with a touches of romance and despair scattered throughout. An all star cast with many memorable moments and some excellent performances put in by Billy Bob Thornton and Bruce Willis provides for an all round entertaining film, if you fancy some far fetched escapism or just an entertaining night in Armageddon is well worth a look.

i bought amageddon because of the price i found that it was a very reasonable pric plus i like all of ben affleck & bruce willis films which they both played great parts in this film, i also find its a real tear jerker

I like that movie. I think it's the best movie i've ever seen. And collectors edition is even better, becouse special features show how they make the movie and show all special efects.

the reason i bought this dvd is because i love the film it is one of my favourte dvds there was nothing i didnt like about it when i bought it it was here in the space of three days

5/5, i love this movie. Typical girl film which suprisingly a lot of males enjoy too. Very witty and a good soundtrack.

This is proberly one of the top hundred films ever, with one of the top ten greatest theme songs on it, in Aerosmiths 'dont want to miss a thing'. With the world facing the biblical Armaggedon due to an asteroid collision, were can the world find a group of heros to save them, NASA?, no they ask the worlds best drilling experts to dig a hole in it and place a nucular warhear into it, the typical American way, but unlike most american films this has a great story line and several twists and turns that will make you laugh, cry and grip your seat with a great script acted out by great actors, the misfit characters are great to watch and the story line is magnifisent. This is a must own in your DVD collection. Bruce Willis also puts in a great performance along side Liv Tyler, Ben Affleck and Billy Bob Thornton.
