Oasis - (What's The Story) Morning Glory (CD 1995)

This was the music that I grew up too, a close friend of mine passed away and Oasis reminds me very much of him and the fun we used to have. Happy days!

I love this cd, did not know all the songs on when i bid for it. i only wanted a cupple of the songs to put my mp3 player but ended up putting all of them on it.

In my opinion, this is the best Oasis album to date together with 'Definitely Maybe'. I can't decide which one's better, though. After 12 years after its release, I can still listen to it and enjoy it. Almost all the tunes on the album are classics and tunes like 'Don't Look Back In Anger', 'Wonderwall', or 'Some Might Say' probably don't need any further description. The only thing I don't like, are the two short interludes. There could have been two more great songs, probably taken out of the B-sides. But except for that, this album has no flaws and every new Oasis fan should buy this CD first.

To me this is the best album Oasis has ever done. It has all the classics such as Wonderwall,Don't Look Back in Anger, along with Champagne Supernova Some Might Say. I have all there albums and this is the one i play the most..any oasis fan needs this in their music collection!!go and buy it..you wont regret it 5/5 for the album..love it

Love it- begining to end this is undoutably a masterpiece. Oasis at their very best. For a true Oasis fan, this is probably the best album you will ever buy.

One of the best cd's ever made,including all there hits whats the story morning glory,wonderwall,maybe,etc a must have for any oasis fan.Watched them in concert at balloch park in scotland,couldn't not buy the cd after that

this has to be oasis's greatest album yet.
it has a wide variety of songs from rock to gentle guitar songs. A must have to listen to in years to come, Oasis probably at there best!

the 2nd album released by them & the best album ever released by oasis to date... but dont think it will ever be replaced on top spot. one of the all time greats!!!!

This is still Oasis' best album.
It's a CD everyone should and showcases easily their best work still.

Great condition as described by seller. Well packaged and delivered quickly. Been after the cd for a while and this was selling for a great price with free delivery.

Genuine copy, perfect condition and prompt delivery. What more could anyone want, oh yes it is also, in my opinion, their best album.

After recently hearing some good old oasis songs on the radio my partner decided to dig out some cds and found we had lots missing. Not being able to replace all with new we browsed ebay and betewwn us get some bargains. They cost us a fraction of what it would have done to buy new.

I am an OASIS FAN, and this is no doubt is the bands' best work ever, okay it can be over-ride of abstract sounds but, this has it all, get your amplifier yes amplifier on full! It will bring out the best for you, with all the bands of the jet setters out there who just bring out the best of albums, this album could be re-made again, this one superb album.

I bought the CD as i am a big fan of Oasis.
I am really pleased with it as the songs on it are great. There is nothing that i dont like about this CD.
All the songs on this CD are quality.

This is the album everyone should own, it was history in the making and what oasis were all about good working class lads showing that they wasnt just a flash in the pan like many at the time had said, after def maybe people were saying how can they better that where do they go now? morning glory took the next musical step with a new drummer they showed they were becoming a class act with hits such as roll with it, wonderwall, dont look back in anger, and some might say all top singles and could have had many more from this album such as cast no shadow and the all time fav live favour Morning glory if you think british music you think of oasis and this album was the next step in oasis and british music growing!

This album is wall to wall classic.

Champagne Supernova is my favourite, but there are so many good tracks on this album you would probably be hard pressed to not find at least one.

I'll tell you what the story is, bloody marvellous.

Oasis not only Rock and Roll, but they Rock some more followed by even more Rolling.

The follow up to their infamous 'Definitely Maybe' is by far their finest hour in my opinion.

The album opens up with the introductory rocking 'Hello' to get you in the mood before one of the most in-your-face to hell with it attitude songs by Oasis 'Roll With It' leaves you desperate for more.

What follows is quite simply of the greatest songs ever written and produced; 'Wonderwall' need one say more?

Noel takes lead vocals and shreds guitar in the legendary 'Don't look back in Anger' to prove that his talents are incomparable to any other singer/songwriter/guitarist in the world.

Liam returns and rocks us through the next two tracks, 'Hey Now' and Oasis first UK number one single, 'Some Might Say,' the latter being one of the tracks that simply defines Oasis music.

Noel provides a moment of melodic magic in, 'Cast no Shadow' which really deserves more credit than given and is used in the 2005 movie 'Goal.' 'She's Electric' is masterfully written and excellently sung by Liam Gallagher and really deserves more recognition than given and should have been released as a single.

What follows is quite possibly the greatest track ever to open up a live gig, 'Morning Glory' is 5 minutes of non stop great rock 'n' roll and can only be appreciated in it's true brilliance on full volume.

7 minutes and 27 seconds, the wonderful guitar solos and the sound of champagne sloshing on the track make 'Champagne Supernova' quite possibly the greatest track on the album and one of Oasis best ever.

(What's The Story) Morning Glory will re-write everything you thought you knew about Rock 'n' Roll and will forever go down as one of the greatest albums of all time throughout all of time. Buy it, buy it now is all a fella can say.
