Taken (DVD 2003)

I read the reviews on taken elsewhere on the net and so decided to buy. I was not disappointed, the acting from all cast members is great and the story is well written. It tells the tale of alien abduction over four generations starting from the 40's to the present day. I'm not a big sci fi fan but this was pretty good. Starts off slowly but hots up towards the end. 8/10.

A well written,plausible, and therefore, frightening, glimpse of the possibility of several families having been abducted by aliens over many years and the cover-up by the US Government. Still valid today due to recent deathbed disclosures by personnel present at Roswell in new Mexico when the first reported ufo's were recovered from a desert crash site and then the incident was denied and covered up by the US Government. Thought provoking as well as exciting tv.

I really enjoyed watching this - it kept me captivated. I was slightly disappointed with the ending but it is something I would watch again and again.

The series follows two families down the line showing there life with obductions!!! with twists!!

Absolutely fantastic! The Close encounters or ET for the next generation. Following three generations of the families really makes you feel part of the story, and its told with sensitivity, but is also quite thrilling too, and of course there is the tolerance message, and the fact that the aliens were looking for something without discriminating.
I originally watched it on tv, but it was even better for the 2nd watching. Highly recommended.
