Tres Hombres original is a terrific album with some great classics, but if, as I did, you're buying the remastered version for the live tracks, think again, it ain't worth it! The recording is as ropey as tug-o-war contest and the versions of the songs as rough as a badger's tush (pardon the pun)! If I were you, I'd buy the original on vinyl, with that great original gatefold sleeve, and invest your change in 'Triple X' on CD, which has some fine correctly recorded and accurately played previously unheard live tracks on it. Verdict? Classic rip off job.
