ZZ Top - Eliminator (CD 1994)

The archetypal ZZ Top album that jetted the Texas trio to superstardom. Some memorable and legendary songs - Gimme All Your Lovin' and Sharp Dressed Man are unsurpassable boogie rock at its best. Plenty of wry humour - TV Dinners is funky and funny. And right to the point lyrics - who can argue with 'She got her skirt slit up to her panties' (Legs). If you ask most people for their top 5 guitarists Billy Gibbons probably wouldn't get enough votes but this man knows his way round the frets and this is a polished performance. This was released on vinyl in 1983 and is arguably the best rock album of the eighties. Your ZZ Top collection ain't complete without it!

Having always liked ZZ top, I found this cd very enjoyable. Even if your not a rocker this will get your toe tapping and head nodding. It is super.!

Bought the original upon it's release in 83, thought it about time to update for convenience and I must say, it loses nothing of the great production associated with the Vinyl version. It rekindles memories of beardy guys (like Seasick Steve if your unfamiliar) in long coats with associated moves and the eliminator(car) and of course the tongue in cheek videos, everyone a classic as is this, No duffers or fillers on this album worth having in your collection -brings a smile to yer face.

Fantastic album, every song is catchy and original! my favorite tracks are sharp dressed man, gimme all your loving, legs, tv dinners, got me under pressure! a futuristic blues style, probably there most known album

i have been looking for this cd and it was in perfect condition just what i wanted I did notice that the seller was not registered after I had paid for the item but had no problems in receiving the item . it was well packaged and in the original cellophane wrapper and on playing there were no problems what so ever so i have no problem with the product

Really pleased, excellent album, a must ! I have been after this album for a while now and was not disappointed at all. A really good thumping album from the boyz. Geat driving music and how music should sound.

I dont think you can beat the eighties music and this is a prime example from that era

I'd been looking for this particular Cd for ages, and I can't say enough just how brilliant this is. ZZ top is a band to be reckoned with and this cd I think is one of their best. Somehow you can't beat the orignal music. "Gimme All your Loving" has got to be a classic of all time and "Sharp Dressed Man" is ZZ Tops at their best.
Brilliant music and more than worth adding to anyones collection.
