Emilio Estevez, Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, Charlie Sheen, Dermot Mulroney, Casey Siemaszko, Terence Stamp, Jack Palance, Terry O'Quinn, Patrick Wayne & Brian Keith ------------------------- Introducing the infamous 'Billy The Kid', Young Guns is set in 1878 in Lincoln County, USA. John Tunstall is the British ranch owner who hires six wayward lads as 'Regulators' to protect both himself and his ranch against the brutal Santa Fe Ring, lead by Murphy, a ruthless rival ranch owner. Following the New Years' festivities, Tunstall is killed in an ambush, and the Regulators seek revenge through the law and with the help of their lawyer, Alex, they become deputised law-men hunting down Tunstall's killers. As their blood fueled vendetta turns into a gory riot of violence and revenge, they are branded outlaws and hunted themselves, becoming the targets of the largest manhunt in Western history. Emilio Estevez at his smoldering best with an excellent supporting cast. A first-rate portrayal of life in the 1800’s American West. By far the best line in the film comes right at the end, delivered by Billy, ... "Reap it Murphy, you son of a bitch". Review ID: 10000000006666546 Was this review helpful?
