a good start for an interesting band
Its quite a varied album, mixing up an arty punk/dance vibe and a more conventional punk sound. But overall its good, stand-out tracks for me are 'Darlin' which is like a dance song played by punks, 'Onkawara' which is more of the 'conventional' punk sound I talked of and 'B-54' which is somewhere between the two. Oh and the album's "slow" song 'Ba(ba ba ba)' is also quite wonderful.
I'd recommends this for fans of The Fall.
