Fantastic DVD Boxset ......... the X-Files Complete Series 1 is highly watch-able and features some great episodes (from the days before the show went a little too weird !!!!!)
Mulder and Scully light up the screen as case follows case ....... the conspiracy theories are present but not over-emphasized (as they were in later on in the series). What each episode does do is deliver a well scripted/explored investigation into something a little out of the ordinary ...... the TRUTH is out there !!!!!!!!
