The World Is Not Enough (DVD 2003)

This was bought as a gift for my husband who is a confirmed Bond fanatic, so that was my reason for purchasing. He watched very soon after it had arrived, and although he had seen it before enjoyed it immensely, he says he will definitely watch it again. If you are a Bond fan it is definitely one for the collection, with plenty of thrills and excitement.

I love james bond and i thought sean connery and roger moore would be difficult to beat but pierce brosnan is a good bond to say the least. this film is one of his best and is gripping with loads of good action scenes. really liked this.

Fantastic film with never ending action and Pierce Bronson delivers more of his one liners.

A must see DVD for all 007 fans out there!

I bought this on behalf of my mother, I find it a mainstream Bond film with highly unlikely scenarios which are the mainstay of the bond empire and therefore are the best things about these films, I love beiing pulled away from real life worries into an unreal world.

this is a good example of a robust, reliable product offered at a competitive price which is not always available through traditional retail outlets

Not my favourite Bond. But still a good film. Good effects and car chases.

Bought for my son who is trying to buy the whole collection. But not objecting as I like Bond too.

I have a bit of a crush on Pierce Brosnan at the moment, which is why I buy the dvd. I hadn't seen it before and I loved it. Lots of action, of every kind and lots of humour! I loved the homour the best. Just my cup of tea.

Like a few other reviewers, I bought this for completist purposes...being a Bond fan I had already seen this a number of times - good if somewhat understated performances from Carlyle and Coltrane, Sophie Marceau portrays an effective femme fatale, however Denise Richards is so wooden the character of Christmas Jones could easily have been done better by Gerri Halliwell who went up for a part in the film or perhaps Angelina Jolie on a romp.

Great action sequences and an amazing if totally unbelievable boat chase at the start make this a suitable addition to the series - although not the best Brosnan "Bond" - which for myself was "Tomorrow Never Dies".

my little boy loves james bond and this one in particular is a great action packed movie. From start to finish there is action and lots of adventure and is a great addition to your movie collection.

Pierce Brosnan returns as sexy super-spy James Bond. The agent's assignment is as follows: he must protect Elektra King (Sophie Marceau), the sole heir of a British oil tycoon, from the influence of terrorist Renard (Robert Carlyle). Unfortunately, she double-crosses him and the world's oil supply is put in peril. Now, he must take on Renard, a villain who feels no physical pain, with the help of do-gooder scientist Christmas Jones (Denise Richards)...

James Bond does it again.

With more stunts and bigger explosions, James Bond saves the day from a mad but beautiful oil baroness. She plans to cripple the worlds oil supply so the have to buy from her. That is until Bond is sent to look after her by "M". Boat chases, ski chases, car chases, all you need to get the blood flowing. And guess what, yes, Bond gets the girl and what a nice girl she is.

Enjoy the film. I did!

i decided to buy this movie because i was missing it from my collection and when i saw the price i just had to buy it.
the movie itself was a roller coaster from start to finish and worth watching over and over.
i would recomend you try this .

I bought this dvd because i adore Pierce Brosnan and i really love watching James Bond films. I am trying to collect them all. It is a brilliant film and i can watch it over and over again.

If you love the Bond films then you won't be disappointed by this one. Action all the way, with a great performance from Robert Carlisle as the baddie. Non stop action entertainment. If you don't like excessive masculinity and explosions then don't bother, if you do then sit back and enjoy.

A great film in the same context of all the other Bond movies, keeps you entertained right to the very end. Recommended, along with all the other Bond films, you can watch over and over again!!
