The Wizard Of Oz (DVD 2001)

i wanted this dvd for my daughter, she loves this kind of stuff and i like to encourage it as a preference to the modern day kids influences. i also have a younger daughter whom would enjoy it as much as her older sister. I am sure we will get a lot of years enjoyment from it and could be passed to my young niece also. This dvd will be well used and loved i am sure.

This was my favourite film as a child..and even tho now i am 34 it still remains my favourtite film. It's in my opinion that every little girl should own a copy of this fabulous dvd and hopefully will grow up like i have always liking it.

The item was very poor as it kept freezing and the sound kept going on and off. It would have been lovely if that had not happened. I got this for my children as they were talking about it at school.

i bought this film because my daughter has just done a play about wizard of oz and she wanted to watch the film.

i loved this flim when i was a child .so i thought i would buy it for my grandson he loves it too. it is all so easy for the children to understand . so stright forward. judy garland plays her part so well. my grandson loved the scarcrow and the little dog. he as watched it over and over again and never gets bored. it gives an excuse to watch it as well.

I wanted to buy this dvd as I have loved the movie all my life. It was a pleasure to watch it after all these years. My wee girl is nearly 3yrs old and i thought she might like it.....she absolutly adores it.It such a classic and I think any mother who loves this movie should introduce their children to it. Its an amazing classic.Watching it brought back so many wonderful memories of my own childhood. My wee girl has not taken it out the dvd player so I think that says it all.

excellant film,a must for all film fans an all time classic.the wizard of oz a timeless family film.

DVD Much clearer and better colours than I remember as a child watching it every Christmas on our TV.

This year I introduced the Film to my two children and they loved it especially the fact that I watched from their age too.

Was like nstepping back in time by 30 years for me.

I wanted to purchase The Wizard of Oz DVD, as a Christmas present.
Despite prompt payment via PayPal,in early October, I have not received the item, or had any contact with the seller. Initially, I e-mailed the seller on three occasions, then after starting a dispute, PayPal supplied me the sellers phone number, which I rang four times and was transferred to a voice mail, where I left details. None of these actions has prompted the seller to contact me.
I am still waiting for a full refund, and ideally an explanation.

This is the first time in over 50 purchases that I have had any real problems.
Sellers like this one need to be "vetted out" and not allowed to sell on e-bay.

bought as DVD for Grandson received video.I sold video to save the hassel of returning it.How many others do that on low priced items?

ITS A GREAT ALL FAMILY FILM WELL WORTH WATCHING IT WAS BOUGHT FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER ALTHOUGH I THINK SHE IS STILL A BIT YOUNG, BUT SHE GOT CAUGHT UP IN THE EXCITEMENT TOO GREAT

i lost my copy so was gutted, it is one of my favourite films, a real classic and the kids love it too

I bought the dvd for a reasonable price and it arrived fairly quickly. It had many scuff marks a little scratched but appears to be working ok.

all time favourite and now my 2 yr old plays over over again and does tin man dance perfectly and i have purchased this dvd many times and will do again

my daughter loves this film and what a classic film it will live forever.future generations will love this film to as have past generations.

Excellent film Brings back old childhood memories Wonderfull cast Costumes and musical score One of the top Movies of all time Makes me feel young again This will be an all time favourite for many more years to come Nothing to compare with it yet.

Everyone must have heard of the sentense over and over again in relation to this film's reputation.
This sentense is actually not like that simple as you hear.

Everyone must know that life is a journey.
With bit self-insight, the perception of this childish film would be dramatically transformed in your eyes. This film is all about a psychological development in which a self would find the real self within the self.

It's great film, for all children as well as adults.

Highly recommended.

what a film !!!!!! you cant beat the originals , the kids adore it , super cast super story , love the witches , a battle between good and bad morals of life , look with in yourself and you will find the strength, love and courage you need ,an enchanting tale they dont make em like this anymore !!!!! follow the yellow brick raod and you will be fine ;-)

I bought this dvd as a gift for my young granddaughter as a keepsake because it had such wonderful memories of my children when they were young and growing up as we all loved it so much. Wonderful film, so glad to have found it on ebay.
