Wheels On Meals, Perhaps Jackie Chans' best film.

Something for everyone. A beautiful girl needs rescuing.
Loads of action, Some hillarious stunts.
Incredible fights, but with humour.

He's done bigger stuff after this, and your martial arts hard core fans may be put off by the lack of violence, but the Villan that Jackie comes up against, is a real life title holding champion, who does not dissapoint.
This film has many followers, and many hollywood copiers.

The best fight scene on film?
Review created: 04/02/08

I have this film on video which was wearing out because I played it so much so I decided to invest in a DVD. So glad that I did because not only was this film in much better condition than my old video but it was a two disc DVD and included some great interviews with Sammo Hung and Benny Urquidez amongst others that were fascinating for kung fu film fanatics like me and really helps to put the fight scenes in context. The fight between Benny and Jackie at the end of the film is simply amazing and they really do pull out all the stops. One reason that it looks so good is that the actors are not pulling their punches or kicks but are actually going for it in a big way although the precision of their moves is not compromised. In my opinion this is just about the best fight scene on film and no wire tricks! I would recommend it to any fan of REAL kung fu.

Excellent Film. A little dated now (1984) but a Classic Jackie Chan film by any Chan followers standards. Features a young looking Jackie Chan, and made long before the commercially protected Jackie Chan that Hollywood gives us now. Jackie performs a great array of stuns, some fun and others Breathtaking! I've only ever seen this film subtitled, so if your one of those who hates that, sorry its not for you. BUT!! You will miss out though on a Funny, Heart Warming, Stunt Laden, Martial Arts Film. And look out for the end where they show the stunts that went wrong :) A must have for your Chan Collection!
