This bands style is catchy 'teen rock', With most of the tracks being up beat.

Though there are some slower tracks on there.

Personally, i found out of an album of 10 tracks, 6 were ok or better. So with 40% of the album being poor quality, you dont want to be spending more than a few pounds.

The tracks are:

1) Truffles - Poor, thankfully its short.
2) Sunshine - Below average, ruined by banjo (or something).
3) Teenage Dirtbag - Obviously the best track
4) A Little respect - Good, slower song. Provides variety to the album.
5) Hump'em Dump'em - Poor, bad lyrics, wierd vocals.
6) Leroy - Decent song. If not the best lyrics, good beat.
7) Hey, Mr.Brown - Poor, drums are a bit over the top in places.
8) Love is a Mutt from Hell - Good, likeable.
9) Punk A** B**** - Decent
10) Wannabe Gangstar - ok. Not bad.

If you are interested in getting the album because you like 'Teenage Dirtbag', i would suggest just getting the single.

There are no songs on par with 'teenage dirtbag' on this album.

Hope this helps.

  Brilliant
Review created: 20/08/09

I was watching one of the music channels the other day and caught Wheatus and their song Teenage Dirt Bag, and have to say I love that song so bought the album. It is brilliant, even has a revamped Erasure song on it which is just superb. My 15 year old son says I am to old for these sorts of bands but what does he know. If you are an older(40ish) rocker or even new romantic you will like this, other groups (if this is a new look at slightly more modern bands)you should look for are Linkin Park, Good Charlotte, Blink 182 & Alien Ant Farm.

A good, solid album, if you have heard teenage dirtbag and like it then this is well worth the buy. Any punk lovers/Greenday/Blink 182 etc. then also worth a buy.

  Teenage Dirtbags
Review created: 05/01/07

Wheatus have a particular sound, and I just wanted some of it. I bought this album to liven up my commute, and it has done that, but I'm not pretending it should be in the Q top 100 albums! Singing along to Teenage Dirtbag is great fun though (but not on the train!).

  Fantastic Album
Review created: 08/09/06

At reading through the names of the songs on the back, the album seems to be a bit off a mismatch, but on listening the whole album seems to make sense. I could really relate to this album and it was great great music. A must buy for anyone who doesn't own it.

A little respect is REALLY catchy, you'll be singing it for the next week after listening to it.
