Wharfedale WCD-3038 CD Player

At first glance I thought this cd player to be too basic to be any good. The moment I played my first cd I realised how wrong I was. The sound quality is incredible. It plays a full range of tones that make you feel you are listening to vinyl quality without the crackle. I have never heard classical music so good on a cd player before. You just put in the cd and press play. There is no fiddling about to get the sound right, because it is perfect every time. There is nothing I dislike about it. If you like a quality sound then this is for you. I bought it because it was Wharfedale, and although it sounded basic I knew I was buying quality. This does not have a shuffle function. You play your cd as you play vinyl and it is well worth the price.

When i first saw this cd player i wasn't sure if it would give me the sound that i wanted, but as it at a great price and a good make, i thought that i would at least give it a go.
What can i say, WOW its a fantastic cd player, looks good and simple to use just does the basics really but it sound so good and if your into loud music (as long as you got a good amp) this player has huge gain but still maintain a super sound

The only thing is it is quite big but nothing to really worry about and to fully repect it you will need a quite good amp and speakers (but saying that my amp and speakers are from the 80s and it sounds great)

Its a great piece of kit well worth the money
