Saw the programmes on TV & nice to have now to watch when i want. Very nice part of our country, better to walk than watch...but to sit down with a cuppa & watch brings memories of a good day out back...(& we need it in this broken country of ours).

This is a magnificent series! Beautifully filmed and wonderfully presented by Julia Bradbury. Anyone cannot fail to be enthralled by the shear majesty of these lakeland fells and the almost mystical, historic links to that great father of fellwalkers Alfred Wainwright. Julia has captured the true spirit of the lakes in that twinkling, magical way of hers.
Having walked these fells many times, this series just makes me want to get my old hiking boots back on and get back out there!

beautifully presented. A really good way to view the walks before you decide which ones to undertake. Explains the difficult areas and the beautiful views from the walks.
