WWF - Royal Rumble 2000 (DVD 2000)

The year 2000 had to be one of the greatest for the wwf. This dvd kicks off the magnificent year with memorable matches. It's even packed with extras.
Tazz vs Kurt Angle: Tazz gets a huge pop, but wasn't used like he was in ECW. An extremely short match with suplexes 6/10
The Hardy's vs The Dudley's: did anyone know the Bubba had a speech impediment? This is the infamous tables match and you can see why. It has plenty of innovative spots and great stunts by Jeff 9/10
Swimsuit competition: Terri is the best. the Kat/miss Kitty wears bubble wrap but looks horrible. Mae Young appearing is just horrendous. The judges must be sick if the let Mae Young win by breast exposal 0/10
Chyna vs Jericho vs Hardcore IC Title: a good match that could have been without Chyna. However, all put on credible performances 6/10
New Age Outlaws vs Acolytes TT Titles: it's always good to see a tag match with build up but this match is way too short. Watchable match.The highlight has to be Gunn overselling a clothesline from hell 5/10
Cactus Jack vs HHH WWF Title: a gruelling, fantastic,classic street fight match. Very bloody and emotional and of course, hardcore! Both men look fine in this match 10/10
Royal Rumble: poor rumble. Most people like every rumble match only because of angles and moves, not wrestling. There is very little wrestling and the best top rope toss happened to a mant that wasn't even in the match, Taka Michinoku. Still it has its moments 6/10
The final moments of the 98 and 99 rumbles make the extras what they are. The rest are just promos, but are entertaining.
Overall, this DVD gets 9.5/10

Personally I Think This Was A Rather Good Ppv Not As Good As Most However Never Knock It As These Superstars Of The Wwf Put On A Fantastic Show As You Will See If Your Lucky Enough To Get This Dvd.
