  Austins last match
Review created: 05/06/06

This is a superb WWE DVD. Firstly, the event itself is so strong as it hosts tonnes of classic bouts. For example, Hogan vs. Vince is a brillant all-out bloody brawl, Steve Austin vs. The Rock marks the end of an era which ties up loose ends so well and is thrilling, and it being austins last match make it very speacle aswell. and the last card on the match is one of the best atheltic bouts WWE have ever put on, even if it does lack some heat. The undercard is also very strong featuring greatness such as Mysterio vs. Hardy (too short but still great) and Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels. The DVD extras are very strong, although a classic wrestlemania match would have been nice. It has tonnes of interesting features on the history of wrestlemania and is fully packed.
The reason for the 4/5 is that it does not compare to WM 17, becasue it seems at times to cramed with to many matches, and the Diva match on the bed let it down(as appealing as it sounds).

Features a match between to great wrestlers

Forget them two on the cover, the real wrestlers are the high flyers and the action wrestlers, not the ones that just hug each other, Matt Hardy and Rey Mysterio are both very entertaining and are the first match up on this dvd, personally they are my 2 favourites but it was a shame shannon moore got involved. Anyway, this wrestlemania is gud but i preferred wmxx and wmx8 more.

This was one of the best purcheses that i have made so far. The dvd was in excelent condition. I am not a great fan but my partner loves wreastling. You can only imagine his face when it arrived. The match between The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin was amazing. I won't spoil your fun at watching this dvd lets just say that there were a few surprises along the way. Let alone the one on one between The Hulk and Mr McMahon. It was also nice to see the late great Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit doing some of there classic moves. All in all a wonderful and entertaining dvd. THANK YOU.

  good wrestlemania
Review created: 19/08/08

wrestlemania 19 is a good pay per view, i wouldnt say it was the best wrestlemania, but it was still an interesting one to watch. i just wish they would have invented the money in the bank ladder match before this ppv, i think having a mitb ladder match would have gave wrestlemania 19 a better rating but since it wasnt invented then, it still has a good rating.
i think the best match on the card was the rock vs stone cold steve austin,
this was a great match, it took 3 rock bottoms in a row to keep the rattlesnake down and out. great match 5/5
all the other matches were good but i think this was the best one
a very close second comes kurt angle vs brock lesnar for the wwe championship.
i think the world heavyweight championship match between triple h & booker t was pointless.
there was a lovely divas match, i was very excited in that one.
overall this wrestlemania was a good way to finish and start rivalries, whoever is thinking of getting it GET IT
it would make a good dvd to add to your collection, as it did mine

Wrestlemania 19 The Grandest of them all! (DVD 2003)
Review created: 05/07/08
by:

WrestleMania XIX was the nineteenth annual WrestleMania professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It took place on March 30, 2003 at Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington.
The event was the first WrestleMania held in the state of Washington. A record-breaking 54,097 fans from all fifty states and numerous countries from around the world at Safeco Field resulted in a gate attendance generating more than USD$2.76 million.

WrestleMania XIX was the first WrestleMania to be promoted under the WWE name. It was a joint-promotion pay-per-view event, featuring performers from the Raw and SmackDown! brands. The tagline for WrestleMania XIX was "Dare To Dream". The official sponser for WrestleMania XIX was Snickers Cruncher bar. The official theme song for the event was "Crack Addict" by Limp Bizkit. Limp Bizkit performed the theme song live, as well as "Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle)" during The Undertaker's entrance.

The main match on the SmackDown brand was Kurt Angle versus Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship,
The predominant match on the Raw brand was for the World Heavyweight Championship between Triple H and Booker T,
Other matches on the undercard was Shawn Michaels versus Chris Jericho, Hulk Hogan versus Vince McMahon in a Street Fight, and The Rock versus Steve Austin.

This was without a doubt the most start studded Wrestlemania of them all, and it certainley lived up to its billing.
In my opinion the best Wrestlemania of them all, (and I have watched them all either on PPV or DVD)
Kings Co-Commentary was even more hilarious than usualespecially during the World Heavyweight Title match, and listen to JR rip him back during the Rock Vs Austin Match, pricelss.
Every match gave exactly what was promised and was hugely enjoyable.
My only issue was there was a bit too much Limp Bizkit, I payed to watch wrestling, not a rock concert, but they were still very good.
The extras are fantastic, The dark match on sunday night heat, Nathan Jones being attacked, Previews of the McMahon vs Hogan Street fight from "Mean" Gene Okerland and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, Interviews with all that were present at Wrestlemania 3 and how it changed the industry, Goldbergs WWE debut the next night on RAW and much, much more.
This 2 Disc set is worth every penny you spend.

  good dvd

Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the directors cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. There's only a 20-minute interview with the director and other shot "making-of" vignettes lol
