Vtech Kidizoom Digital Camera

This camera is solid and chunky and great for little hands. It is very easy to operate just point and shoot. I love the fact that the pictures can be edited, you can add photo frames, distort faces etc, use animation and if you decide that you want to keep the photo as it originally was you can just undo everything. You can take video with it and play games like Tic Tac Toe, Rotation Puzzles and Matching Pairs but you dont just have to play on the small screen on the camera you can connect it to your TV and play the games on the big screen, watch your video and look at all the photos, you can delete those that you dont want and then you can download everything on to your PC and save them on disc. I am trying to think of something that I dislike about the camera but so far I havent found anything - only thing that I feel could have been a bit larger is the screen but otherwise I think this was a great buy. I bought it for my sons birthday after seeing a little nephew with one and he used it at his birthday party and took it with us on holiday he is constantly snapping away and if he puts it down and forgets to switch it off - no worries the camera does that for you so the battery is not running out because its been left on.So if your little ones are constantly trying to use the good family camera I would suggest you purchase the Kidizoom Digital Camera you wont regret it and now they even do a waterproof one but I'll stick to this one and keep it on dry land!

I bought this camera for my grandsons 4th birthday on the 27th February 08. He absolutely loves it and (truthfully) has not put it down since. It is so easy to use and he used it straight away, taking pictures of anything and everything. I like the fact that it is light weight, little finger friendly and brightly coloured. It comes with all the attachments you need for loading it onto your pc or laptop and that you can quite easily print the photo's off or save them on the camera, as it has a good memory.
I give this kiddies camera 10/10. I couldn't have chosen a better present for him, and I highly recommend it to any parents of a budding photographer even if he/she is only 4 years old.

Having the Kidizoom my son was thrilled that he has his own camera. The elder son was also thrilled with the editing this camera can do. I would recommend the parents with children to get a camera like this cause its very interesting thing and they can learn how to take photos. If you are going to buy a camera like this pls also invest in some rechargable batteries cause they shrink in quite short period of time:)

my little 3 yr old son is fanatic about taking photos and video clips. we always buy him a disposable camera when we are on holidays but now he wont need one as this camera takes up to 200 photos and video clips up to 5 mins!!! which can be downloaded on to pc or tv fab!!

My Grandson loved this item and now takes pictures of everyone and everything, a budding David Bailey.

for a toy camera that behaves like a real one

this product is an excellent gift for children who love camera,s. my daughter had broken a few good cameras of mine,as she loves to take pictures,this v tech is brilliant,can take being knocked and dropped,and also has games to play to keep occupied, this also has video too, but best of all,it has taken a few knocks and been dropped,and still works perfectly...

IT'S ROBUST, LOOKS GOOD AND HAS LOTS OF FEATURES eg; VIDEO, CAMERA GAMES, YOU CAN EVEN EDIT PHOTO'S, PUT FRAMES ON ETC. IT' THE SECOND ONE I'VE BOUGHT FOR MY GRANDCHILDREN AND THEY LOVE THEM.

I bought this for my daughters 5th Birthday and she loves it. We put rechargeable batteries in at the end of April, have taken over 600 pictures and edited and deleted and only changed the batteries on 1st June - fantastic!

There are also two games which my daughter enjoys playing, and video mode as well as other features. It has been dropped and bashed about a bit, but can withstand the knocks.

I haven't printed any photo's yet so not sure of the quality, hence the good rather than excellent rating but for fun value I give it 10 out of 10.

This camera offers practically all features of an "adult" camera, but the handling really is absolutely easy and suitable for children, like we say in German: "Kinderleicht" (so easy that any child can handle it...) Excellent item to start with such technologies!

I bought it because my little girl saw it on tv and said she wanted it - i wasn't sure - (a digital camera for a 4 year old ..?! i thought...) but i saw it on ebay - and i saw that it came in 'pink' (very important..;-) - so i purchased it - gave it to her at her birthday party - and literally as soon as she picked it up , she was using it.. her favorite functions has to be being able to add graphics to her pitcures (like giving nanny a piggy nose, or my fiancee sarah a pirates hat and eye patch..) also has some very playable games on it too - like 'pairs' - recommended - it is/was a great present and she loved it...

this is a really good toy for young children my son aged 6 thankyou. my boy dont want to put the camera down as he loves playing the built in games or using the video recorder to film his freinds and brothers and sisters also myself and my wife it keeps him amused for hours. the pictures for a toy and camera all in one plus the built in games are really good quality and you can have fun pictures with the frames and funny faces also built in to this great kids camera toy well worth the money you pay for it brilliant

I bought the camera for my grandson's 3rd birthday. I contemplated getting the Fisher Price version and a few others but this far more functions than the competition and the price compared favourably too. Josh has so far only really used it to take pictures - which has loved doing - but I'm sure as he becomes more confident (and a little bit older) he will appreciate all the additional functions. It's a sturdy well made toy camera and has proved simple enough for a 3 year old to use (although we do get lots of random pictures of people's feet and the floor) and has certainly poved to be a successful purchase and a popular gift which will continue I'm sure to give pleasure for years to come

This is the second one of these i have bought. One for my daughter who is just 3 and one for my nephew who is 8. Both absolutely love it.

It's easy to use and produces good quality pictures. The games are also good, it keeps my daughter amused on long journeys or when she has to hang about waiting somewhere.

Because of the computer software my nephew is learning to use the computer and my daughter helps me when i'm printing hers off, so both are learning essential computer skills. There are scenes that can be added to the outer rim of the pictures and pirate patches and hats and other cartoon type effects to make them seasonal or just more interesting for a child.

Look around as you can get them cheaper than the standard £50 which they seem to be sold for.

This is a brilliant little camera very easy to use loads of feature,my son love adding the little extra on the camera to the pictures his taken loads of memory and you can add more with a momory card and it also has three little games a must on any day out.

Very good specification camera for children. Very reasonable compared with shop prices. Lots of opportunities for manipulation of the photos.

Its a gift which I know my 3 year old is going to love, the whole idea and design of the product is just brilliant
