The Virgin Suicides (DVD 2000)

i love this film. Maybe a chick flick but i thought it was a great insight into the problems that come with strict catholic families. Ive watched it a million times!

I find this movie remarkably unique! got a very cold, morbid feel to it that is very intreguing. awesome soundtrack by air too!

I've had the soundtrack to this for ages and 1/2 read the book - so naturally i wanted to see the film.. It wasnt as good as I thought it was gonna be - but it wasnt a terrible film..

this cult classic which started as a novel has been portrayed in what i can only describe as excellence
considering this was made in 1999 - this film prevails to be one of the best to depict life in the 1970's for these five girls
not only does the viewer perceive the opinions and feelings of the 5 virgins, but also everyone in the film.

I wanted to see this film for ages, so I decided to look on ebay but it was always being sold for more than I wanted to pay, but then I saw it for less than a fiver and with the book aswell, so I bidded and won for less than five pound including postage which I think is an absolute bargain. It was sent straight away and the condition it was in looked absolutely brand new.

I read many reviews raving about this film so I decided to buy it, having watched it I'm left disapointed. I wasted two hours watching a film that was slow with a poor beginning, middle and end!
I'm glad I only paid £2 for it.

As this was bought as a gift, for someone who particulay wanted to see it, I am unable to make a valuable comment. Although person receiveing the gift, thought it was a brilliant film.

this is one of the most beautiful film by Sophia Coppola together with the most famous "lost in translation". It's a story of boy and girls in a college.
The soundtrack played by the Frenche band Air is awesome
