Vax V026 Upright Wet/Dry Vacuum

Prompt delivery. Machine arrived in good condition. The packaging was very good to protect the Upright Vacuum.

My old Vax had reached the end of its useful life.Decided on another VAX , my original being roller mounted, I picked this upright version.Probably the best decision I have made for a long time. This cleaner performed better as a straight vacuum and as a washer ,than did the old version.Easy and convenient to use ,especially on furniture, with outstanding results.Highly recommended.

Purchased this to help clean up any mess created by the two dogs. It is excellent. Also good on the outside patio.
Will be using it to deep clean the carpets.

I have a very active terrier dog who loves to go long walks rain or shine. He also likes to think that my rugs are his own personal towels. I bought this shampooer to to help me keep some semblance of cleanliness. So far I have been very pleased with its performance. Instructions were easly to understand and machine easy to use. The only blip is with the upholstery attachment, when in use, it squirts water from the side of the cleaner head. I have remedied this by wrapping waterproof duck tape around the join and that has solved the problem. Apart from that I am pleased with my purchase and its performance for a reasonable purchase price.

Disappointing thought it would do a better job, cleaned carpet ok but not brilliant.Easy to use and lightweight but would`nt recommend as cleaning ability is`nt great. Maybe i expect too much for £100! Rated below average but i`ve never had a carpet cleaner before so have nothing to use as a comparison.

I was told by numerous people,"carpet shampooers are a waste of time". How wrong they were, the amount of dirt animal fur/hair extracted from my carpets was unbelieveable.
The vax V026 is a compact user friendly carpet shampooer. A bid noisey but nothing earplugs can't sort out. Mine has a tendency to pull to the left when drawing it backwards, this is when it lays the shampoo solution down. No problem's going forward, sucking up all the dirt/excess solution. The carpet is left fairly dry but this is only achieved after learning to regulate the flow of shampoo mixture. If your heavy handed on the flow trigger it'll make your carpets feel damp for a couple of hours.
I find the onboard tools very basic compared with the carpet shampooer. The spray of shampoo solution, administered by the flow trigger, has a tendency to saturate everything in it's path. There's no controlling this high pressure spray so only clean upholstery that can be left to dry out for a couple of hours before use.

I already have already owned one of these and was very happy with it. Having young children and a dog it had been used very frequently for dealing with spills and accidents, as well as giving my carpets a yearly thorough spring clean. I loved the ease of use and effectiveness of this Vax, so when I accidentally got water in the motor of mine, I wasted no time in looking for a relacement and hunted around for the best deal on this model.

An excellent product that really gets the dirt out of a carpet.Its very easy to use not being too heavy.
