Editorial Reviews 4 Stars - Excellent - ...[the songs] are highly individal and, in most cases, offer radical reinterpretations of Williams's originals. What unites them without exception, however, is the inspired nature of the performances...a moving tribute to a songwriter who deserves to be more widely recognized... Rolling Stone (07/08/1993)
3 Stars - Good - ...[Evan Dando and Eddie Vedder's] textured, wistful voices do justice to these texture, wistful songs...while Michael Penn's 'Weeds' is an oddball potential hit if ever there was one... Q (10/01/1993)
...a uniquely delightful hour.... Melody Maker (08/28/1993)
...Sad that illness had to knock Victoria's talent out of obscurity, but this is a great eclectic introduction to her work... - Rating: A Entertainment Weekly (07/23/1993)
