Great 3 CD box set covering what is in many respects a difficult era to define; both musically and stylistically. The 'Suedehead' compilation straddles the grey area between Skinhead Reggae and the widening schism wherein Reggae splintered into roots reggae and pop! Some brilliant obscure tracks as well as some better known staples, this is as much a musical documentary as a compilation. The excellent sleeve notes go a long way towards describing this crucial era in the evolution of reggae as a musical force!
