what an absolute beaut! great listening... and definately one for the cd collection. i am now eager to collect the the other albums which are available of this high-quality original and covers album. a rare chance to get songs done by different artists, with their own little twists and tweaks on it!

I liked the 2nd Live Lounge album, but this just seems to be full of fillers. I like Franz Ferdinand's Gwen Stefani cover, but the other tracks are really dull.

Some of the best sessions from radio 1's live lounge compiled on to a 2 disc album. A must have for all listeners and non-listeners of the Live Lounge.

My son bought me Volume 2 of Live Lounge for Christmas. Both albums are gtreat fun and constsantly surprise. Volume 1 has an extraordinary variety of tracks........I even liked Dizzy Rascal for godnesss sake! Recommended

Overall a fantastic live session album with the highlight for me being the 'Love Machine' cover.
Lots of fantastic bands singing great songs in their own individual ways.
Definately reccommended as a must listen to cd.

yea most of it is good, bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla blardy bla. buy it you wont regret it most of the songs are good there are a few duffers in there tho! I know now never to get involved in writing revews again as its a pain in the ****! who on earth reads this twoddle if someone is reading this you must be so bored with your life that you have nothing better to do than read my ramblings. regards

Really great album - some excellent 'quirky' tracks performed by artists who didn't originally write/perform the track. And some excellent normal live tracks also.

Excellant double album of covers and original accoustic version. I'v got all 3 of the live lounges and they do get better. Fantastic cd and a joy to listen too. Well worth buying.

a great double disc cd i bought because i was given volume 3 for christmas and thought that because that one was so good i'd explore the others. i would advise getting all 3 volumes. the odd song might be a bit off key or there might be things you wouldn't normally choose, but overall they are great cds!

I bought this for my girlfriend as a present. It was one of those presents which i actually wanted but it was nice to give as a gift to keep me in her good books. Both of us absolutely love it. Best album i have bought for a while.

I deceided to buy this product as i had orginally brought it but lost it during a house move and just couldn't live without it!!!!
I like thar most of the songs are the CD are still in circuit I would class this CD as a classic which will never out date.

I particularly enjoy this type of music! Todays artists doing there own takes on various other music. If you like this, there is a Radio 1's Live Lounge Vol.2 and a fantastic album called Radio 1 established 1967. A different band doing a version of a song from each year between 1967 and 2007. I have all 3 albums and recomend them highly!!

20 odd songs by your favurit artises but with a twist, they are preforming live versons of their songs or other artise. There are some not brilliant songs on here but the good one are brilliant. It takes a while to figure out the song and who is singing it at times but thats half the fun. would recomend easily!

I love most of the readio one albums that come out , and for most of this album i was really into it.but people singing their own stuff in a very average way put me off it totally.
wasnt enough out of the ordinary stuff on it.

Love it love it love it!!! Awesome album that really shows the artist's true talent.
Foo Fighters and Snow Patrol are my top of the pops!

Love it becauyse its so varied and the covers are amazing, particularly I thought the artic monkeys cover of girls aloud very goodf.

Loved this album and can't wait for no 2 to arrive. Some might say its a bit indulgent, all these artists trying out new styles etc but I really enjoyed it.

Simply the best (in my opinion) of modern and not so modern music available today
This CD is a must have for anyone born in to 70s, and a should have for all the rest. Get Vol-1 vol-2 and hope that a Vol-3 comes out soon

This is a great album. I prefer the covers that are done but they are all great artists. Definitely recommended

wide choice of music would continue to listen al the time i do enjoy cds with a very wide range of different music.

This is a great album, a real treat for anyone who loves their live music, and who enjoys great bands doing great covers, some of which are truly exceptional!! There are one or two tracks which I'm really not keen on, but that's only to be expected, as there are so many great tracks, great bands, and interesting mixes, there's no way you're going to love them all, but you are going to love most of them!!! A few real eye openers, like the Arctic Monkeys doing Love Machine by Girls Aloud, making it their own, doing it their way!! If you are a fan of the Live Lounge (which I am!), then you'll probably have heard many of the tracks, and this is certainly for you. If you like the Foo Fighters, Snow Patrol, Coldplay, Kings of Leon, Razorlight, Keane, Oasis, etc., etc., then get this, you will not be disappointed!!
