Probably the best CD of the Points in Time Series

There's a couple of killers on here, and apart from the two Axis tracks (too washy for my liking) the rest aren't too bad either!
Bang the Drums by Taylor is a true zeitgeist of 1993, with those opening bleeps then those lovely authentic bass notes and that banging amen riding alongside that female vocal loop fit for the large rave arenas of the time.
Enchanted, by Bukem is another easily recognizable tune of that era which appeared on a couple of his Yaman mix tapes.
2 other tunes on here feature the amen break; Live Session by Universal was made around three years after the tracks formerly mentioned, and that's reflected in the quality of the drums. The amen initally twists and swirls through your brain before slamming around nicely for several minutes. The 19.5 Reprisal is arguably better than the original version, as it ebbs and flows with the strings, chords and vocal instead of having the big build up to them all.
Reflections by New Balance (aka Blame and Nookie) is the beach moment of the CD. Simply beautiful. The New Horizons break is chopped up nicely, the bass is organic, those gentle waves of atmospherics come and go, and that bloke can go "ooOOOO00ooo" in my earhole all day long if he likes. From the beach, you can go to the vast, hot, luscious landscape created by PFM with his track Dreams.
