Various Artists - Great War Themes (CD 1998)

This CD features some of the Best War Film Themes ever made. The sound of a military band is something quite unique and this CD includes The Band of the Royal Marines, The Band of The RAF Regiment and other famous units. The CD as a whole is great but for me there are three themes, which make the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.
The 1st is the Dambusters March by the Band Of The RAF. The second is - The Great Escape (theme) by The- Royal Anglian Regiment and the third is 633 Squadron by the Band Of The RAF.
This CD is real flag waving stuff and reminds us of the magnificence of previous generations who sacrificed so much to do what was right and necessary. If you love war films you will love this CD.
