Various Artists - Balamory (Strike Up The Band) [ECD] (CD 2005)

My little girl loves balamory and ive bought this for her for a xmas gift but i have listened to it and its great it has all the well known songs on that my daughter loves so im expecting a great big hug on xmas morning, it will be brilliant for any child who loves balamory!

This is a good CD but I would have liked one with all the characters songs - they only seem to do this one. My 22 month old twins love Balamory and the music and they quite like this CD although they don't know alot of the songs - I'm afriad its coming second to the Me too! album.
Abit dissapointed but it'll do!

My 21 month year old daughter is a big fan of Balamory which prompted my decision to buy this for her. It tends to live in the car and is a good way of keeping her smiling if she becomes a bit restless while we're "out and about." A word of warning however-you may find that you end up listening to it rather a lot as my daughter now constantly makes song requests and is particularly fond of the Josie Jump song,(of which I now know every word!)

If they like Balamory they'll love this. All the songs and characters from the TV series. Perfect for the car!!

I bought this for my day nursery and the children were thrilled as they have seen and heard some of the songs on the TV show.

Great CD for the kids, all the songs on the CD are from the television series. The kids enjoy singing along to all the songs, a great one for in the car - a must for any Balamory fan!

When my daughter watched Balamory on tv, she would find herself singing along to the various songs. So i thought it would be a good idea to get her an album featuring those songs. The songs on the CD are more original than what you get on the tv show, they consist of a mixture of various song types ranging from r&b, jazz, dance & folk aswell as the usual tv show theme tune for added appeal. All in all this is a good cd album for young children and fans of the show. My only negative point about this album, is that after a few listens it can become repetetive.

Does just what it says on the packet! If your child (and yourself) are fans its a great travelling companion.

daughter mad on balamory especially josie jump and her songs, good fun but to many strange songs, would have been better with more well none ones so she could regognise them, but she still enjoys dancing to the ones she does no.

Features all the favourite, catchy songs from each of the Balamory characters. Has extra singalong, karaoke style songs to join in with at the end of the disc. The enhanced CD features are great, including a drawing programme which enables you to make your own Balamory greetings cards, posters etc. Really simple and easy to use. Even the sleeve is full of activities.

Thank goodness for this CD - although i now have to listen to it three times a day (at least), i don't have to watch the TV show quite so often! All the essential songs from the newer series, and a few of the old favourites too. I particularly like Spencer's song myself, but all my kids love it. It was bought for my 2 year old who adores it, its become a sort of security blanket for him, if things aren't going his way its "Mory, Mory".

A marvellous cd, well it is if you have a child that adores Balamory, if not and you are an adult then i dont really think it will be your cup of tea!
I bought this cd cos i used to have it a we used it to death so needed an scratched one. Excellent service and product.

having heard the kids singing along to balamory and knowing the words i knew this was something they would like. the kids loved it,it is their their favourite show, received in great condition and very quickly.

This CD contains songs by all the main characters, but I'd have chosen other signature tunes for some of the characters. I also find it a bit odd that the Balamory theme song is the last regular song on the CD, but it's not a problem. The last three tunes on the CD are karaoke-style sing-alongs, but my child is completely uninterested in them, so I consider them to be a waste.

All in all, not a bad CD. My child enjoys listening to it, but I would have replaced the last three tunes with more character songs.
