Not bad, but still too cheesey!

Once again, another predominantly cheesey offering from Ministry of Sound. Fair enough, this is probably the right approach for their target market (weekend clubbers, who dont take their music that seriously and like anything they can sing along to) but for those of us who are a bit more specific when it comes to dance music, this cheese overload really matters! Especially when its all over both CDs!
CD1 has a few decent tunes on it (Tom Novy's "Your Body", Mylo's "Doctor Pressure", and a brilliant Axwell remix of Hard Fi "Hard to Beat") but after that it's rather downhill.
CD2 is also the kind of pop/funky-house we have seen emerge in recent years, with a couple of interesting trancier moments such as "Listen to Your Heart".
Both discs seem to lose their way after about half way, as if the producer thought they needed to get more underground tracks in, and there are (as with other Annuals) some totally unknown and extremely dull tracks to finish with.
The DVD is a bit of a gimmick, and not worth watching apart from hearing the wicked track by DT8 "Winter".
Overall, a fairly average annual. I'm sure they'll sell sh*tloads though!
