Story:
In VANISHING POINT, an ex-racecar driver (Barry Newman) gets high on Benzedrine and leads the police on a hectic cross-country chase. On his strange journey, he meets numerous odd characters.
Comments:
Great car-chasing movie, i think that this movie even has a longer car-chase then in '' Gone In 60 seconds '' , as quite litterly the movie hits off where he has to deliver his car in time, makes a bet that he will be there at a specific time, and then the cops are already on his tail.
He gets helped alot by unique individuals who are in protest of the current government, hippies, cult-Jesus-lovers, nudists, black-soul R&B people, you name it.
The end is quite sad where he crashes into a road-block, wish he had made it.
Very mutch recommendable. A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
