Valiant (DVD)

l bought this for my kids they thought it was fantastic,they have watched it that many times,a must for anyone who is a cartoon lover 10/10

I’m not going to bang on about this film like some overpaid, fat citric trying to nitpick.

I’m also not going to beat about the brush reviewing this film.

1/ This film is ace, great to watch if you are 4 years old or 40 years old.

2/ Without a doubt Ricky Gervais (The Office) is a comedy God in this film and in my opinion, this is his best work to date.

3/ So if you are thinking of watching this film? Do it! You will not be disappointed.

Bought this for the kids but in honesty its kepy anyone who has watched it enthraled most enjoyable.

Really good cast which meant that story was good and made me laugh. DVD was really cheap and worth it for a good family film - My daughter is 4 and although she didn't get all the jokes sat and watched the whole film with me and my wife.

We had borrowed this film from a friend and my 2 year old daughter loved it so much we thought we would get our own copy. We paid a very low price which is the beauty of e-bay but got an excellent product.

My children love this DVD .Its very entertaining for the whole family and they have watched it many times before buying this,their own copy .Great price , new and in perfect condition .Many thanks!

excellent , although a cartoon, it has excellent background scenery..the artwork is brilliant..and liked the factual bit after the end titles regarding the Dickin Medal..the animals VC...so although essentially its a cartoon with speaking pidgeons!!! it has its basis in fact.

I especially liked Valiant, as he was small & cute.
The whole family will enjoy this animated film, as mine did (they are hard to please)

Good family film, funny and entertaining. Good characters. Gives the kids an awareness of the war. it was good but not the best childrens film i seen the children were also not that impressed with it they were quite easliy distracted from the film. It didnt have many funny scenes in either which i found disapointing when you compare the film to others that they have made like shrek.

Good film, very funny especially Ricky Gervais' character. Full of laughs, very good for all the family. A Brilliant Film.

There is nothing to dislike about this film - unless of course you are Adolph Hitler or one of his offspring!! Personally I think pigeons are flying rodents but that is because I live in the capital where all we see are the street hopping verminous type and we forget that the more intelligent variety exist... In the days before mobile phones pigeons were essential for message carrying and they made a great contribution to the war effort. This film does, of course, add a lot of imagination to the facts and the result is truly a film which can be enjoyed by the whole family; from tiny tots to the elderly. I purchased it as an afterthought whilst buying another dvd from the same seller - I just home the other film is half as good.
Valiant sees a lot of the big names in the film industry voicing the parts which adds interest to the adult viewers born after the war as they spot the voices of John Cleese, Jim Broadbent, Hugh Laurie etc. and Ricky Gervaise as a true London street hopper who accidentially joins the Royal Homing Pigeon Service with Valiant (Ewan McGregor)a couragous little wood pigeon, when the RHPS is running out of troops towards the end of the war... I am sure that, like us, you will find yourself cheering on our heroes as they face the German trained falcons.

I saw the film firstly at my friend's house where her kids were watching it. It looked like a fun film. My fiance loves anything to do with WW2 RAF in particular, so thought Id get it for him, as a joke. We watched it on a rainy Saturday afternoon and it was perfect.

Bought this for my 2 year old daughter (honest) but have to say I think I enjoyed it as much if not more. Host of stars in the voice casting whom are easily identifiable and really add to the whole experience. Some good extras, good picture quality and its made in Britain, Welldone!

Great to give children their first insight into world war 2
This film is all about how the pigeons helped to save lives of our war heros.
Fun filled for all the family to enjoy!
My two year old sat and watched the whole film fully enjoying it.

This is brilliant! Ricky Gervais, Ewan McG, and a fab, funny story. It really is great. My kids adore it and we still find it hilarious.

Great movie, the kids love this movie and can't stop watching it... brilliant.. The makers of this movies did a great job with the animation..

Great fun to watch for kids and adults alike. It has humour that both adults and kids will enjoy and understand.

the seller was amazing the price was great, communication could have been stepped up slightly but there wasnt really any need for communication as every thing went smoothly.

Hilarious animation adventure about the exploits of a Squadron of homing pigeons during World War II. Original and unlikely subject matter, but it works and had both the adults and children in our family in hoots of laughter. Some great characters, particularly the flee-ridden and work-shy cockney pigeon from Trafalgar Square, played by Ricky Gervais, and the evil German falcons who are the pigeons' mortal opponents.

Took the children to the cinema to see it, and they kept pestering us to buy the DVD. Doubt this will become a classic, but it is good harmless fun.

Such a brilliant DVD. The birds are really really funny especially using the voices of the actors they have chosen so well for each character. Well thought out and already a firm favourite for the whole family.

Excellent family orientated funny and watchable numerous times film.
Outstanding production of humor and entertainment for all the family with cracking one liners for the twisted adults out there. Can not emember how many times the film has been seen but still it provides an entertaining evening for the whole family.
Dislike what was there to dislike, how long We had to wait before it arrived thats about it the next day delivery was not fast enough.
Why would we not want to buy it as we have already said and outstanding all round family entertaining film a superb all round film .

Oh and the best thing about buying was the value for money would choose E/Bay as our first port of call for any and all future purchases.. Again an outstanding service provided to the buyers and sellers
