I recently bought this phone for my daughter and she absolutely loves it, a really cool trendy phone that is basic and easy to use. I thought it was so cool I just bought one for myself. Nice buttons for texting (not to small) and so compact you can easily put it in your pocket.

I have the 580 model which i think is excellent so my wife wanted a similar one in pink which the 530 is. Really smart small phone with great functions.

Excellent entry level phone. Graphics are excellent and bright ringtones are good and menus are easy to navigate. Nice size, small for the girls and their handbags or purses. Very trendy.

the phone battery runs down quickly. The camera is poor. The ringtones are poor.Phonebook does not organise contacts in alphabetic order. I only bought it coz it had been customised with playboy gems etc. I would not buy this phone again.

I bought this phone just for emergencies, but i have to say it is an easy phone to use, so i have actually used this one quite a lot. Love the fact that because it is pink, i can find it very easily, in my bag.

This is the second time I've purchased the same phone for my wife,
I bought the first one 2 years ago and it's lasted well
She loved the phone
so much so
That when she dropped the phone recently and given the choice of having a newer phone, she wanted the same phone again.
It's a fairly basic phone with a camera, nice clear polyphonic tone in a baby pink colour

Have you had any problems?To be honest, if you're read the reviews online you'll probably consider not getting this, however, I've purchased 4 for my wife so far, and the new ones like above are fantastic. The old VK530 in Lilac lasted maybe 36 hours before needing charging and this has lasted over 5 days. If you want a phone that can take pictures (tho not many as no memory upgrade) is small, pretty (girly thing) and is not complex, this is the phone for you.

vk 503these arequite a good phone, pretty basic with a ok camera, the best thing is you can pick one up for less than a fiver. The reason why i bought this one was because i needed the ribbon to fix another one, the only problem was the seller discribed the phone as has a broken screen, but when i recieved this and took it apart, i found out the screen was fine but the ribbon was broken, so the phone was no good for what i needed.

a small child's phonei like this phone because of its size (so small that it would fit snuggly in my daughter's hand. she's 5, by the way); its pink color would suit any young girl; it has a camera that my daughter can use to take photos (and she loves doing it). the downside though is that it cant receive or transfer photos to another phone as it's lacking of bluetooth and infrared

Tt's fine for texting and calling and that's all was needed it for as I bought it for my grand-daughter. It's everything a girl wants on her phone. It's pink and very attractive. Games - good but not great, Tones - around 40. Quite good. Polyphonic. They are cute but do get a but annoying. They are fine though but you can't download new ones. Cute message alerts too. Camera - Very good in the right light. Easy to use as a first phone as grand-daughter is only young and is finding it easy to operate. It is only sold by vodaphone but they do offer free texts at weekends depending how much you use the phone so perfect for who I bought it for. The message alerts drive me mad yet it is teaching the owner to be alert for it. It is loud and keys quite big,the screen back grounds are not up to standard and I would not buy one for myself but as I said as a first phone it is great.Grand-daughter loves it.

This is a very sweet, stylish clam design mobile. Its very compact and fits nicely into my 10 years olds hands! There are enough screensavers and different ringtones already on there to keep you interested and the menu's are very user friendly and easy to follow. Although a year or two old now, it still looks very 'now' and feels very well made. The battery lasts quite well, I maybe charge it up every 2 or 3 days although its mainly used for texts and not calls. The one I bought is in a metallic pink and its nice and grown up looking without being TOO little girly. Its proved to be very robust, having been dropped several times already! Its not an all singing, all dancing one by any means but it has quite a good menu and its perfectly adequate. If you have owned a really flash, up to date phone before, this would be a bit like buying an old banger car again but I'd be very happy to have it temporarily as it does the job well. Personally I think its best as a first phone.
