The Vax was a really good price, and does what it says. It's easy to empty after a couple of very dusty tries!
Advantages: Sucks up well and really looks the part! Nice long lead. Extendable handle on the pipe that gets half way up the stair. (but don't pull too hard or the whole thing will land on you, and it weighs a ton!)
Disadvantages: REALLY heavy and quite difficult to move around. The turbo tool isn't realy man enough to do alot without falling to bits. Not sure about the pipe going into the handle, it looks like it could split after a time, but that's just my opinion!
On the whole, It's an avereage vacuum cleaner, but much too heavy to carry up and down stairs. Go for a Sealy instead!

The fact you can switch the brush bar off for hoovering hard floors is an excellent extra no more dust being blown to the edges of the room. All tools are at hand for changing and easy quick change simple even for someone like me that finds it hard. This hoover is not the lightest hoover but is a very sturdy hoover. Would not recommend to old people as this hoover is too heavy for the weak or infirm. The hose reaches all the way to the top of the stairs so no unplugging half way up, also has a good length of cable. The lovely blue colour also attracted me to this hoover nicer than a dull looking one. I am enjoying using it even my husband has started hoovering just so he can keep changing the tools that are carried on board, so if you want your husband to start hoovering this is for you.

Turboforce Zero upright vacuum
) This is a great looking vacuum cleaner that has a great suction to clean your house suitably. I have both carpets and laminate floor, and it is suitable for both. It has all the necessary tools to quickly clean my house. The only negative I can say about it, is that it is heavy and makes it harder to carry upstairs and do the stairs. However, overall an excellent vacuum cleaner and certainly value for money from where I bought it!

I have never had a bagless vacum cleaner before and I am happy with the one I bought from e-bay. It si much quiter than I was expecting and it does the job it is asked to do. I hope it lasts a long time as I feel it was a good buy.

VAX VZL-501. An awesome piece of kit...Anyone who has a problem keeping their carpets clean will appreciate this. It is an upright vacuum cleaner, bagless with a powerful 1700 watt motor. It is large, heavy and sounds like a space shuttle launch, so vacuuming while the kids are in bed may not be the best idea. Saying that, it does a good job.
I equated it to driving a truck around my home, but it solid and has a reliable feel to it. the attachments come in very handy too. If you have pets, you will benefit from the pet hair remover(removes hair from carpets and not your pets!!), to ensure that your carpets don't suffer too badly from the abuse caused by our furry little friends.
The hose is placed in the centre of the vacuum and pulls out like a shotgun and extends to a comfortabe length. Other accessories include a crevice cleaner and an upolstry brush for furniture. All good at the jobs they are designed for.
All in all this is a good, cheap vacuum, a little large and noisey, but macho enough for the hubby not to mind vacuuming himself, once in a while.
