Underworld - Evolution (DVD)

In the end, Evolution follows all sequel rules—more action, more nudity, more villains—but manages to be better than the original by keeping the action coming. Sure, there is some tightening that could have made the exposition flow faster, but overall this is a solid genre picture with killer action and plenty of satisfying death-dealing.Worth adding to your collection,thanks for reading

I loved this movie the story line the action it is immense how it did not do better in the cinema is beyond me. I watched it in a cinema with no heating in the winter it was no more than 5 degrees but i didnt notice as i was caught up in the magical ride that is this movie. Watch it!

A fantastic sequel to a superb original. One of the best vampire films, if not THE BEST... Kate Beckinsale is ravishing and plays the lead brilliantly. If you haven't seen the original - see it! then you'll need to see this. Highly recommended

Having wanted to watch this movie, was especially delighted to find it on sale at the ridiculous low price on ebay. The dvd print had excellent picture quality and sound effects which i liked as I am always dubious about buying dvds that are not from big stores. I liked all the extra features the copy had.

I decided to buy it for my dad for christmas so this was the perfect gift at the perfect price!!!!!!!! I am wishing to see this film with him so i hope it will be good. My dad wanted it as he has the first and third DVD and he needs the second so then he can enjoy the third, then he wanted this as a perfect Christmas pressie. This will be the perfect present.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really good sequel from the first underworld film. recomended, If you have not seen it , get it ! you need to watch them all , buy the first underworld first.

Never undertood the sex scene but hey ho. Its certainly action packed but you have to like werewolf movies and vampire flics to watch this I rate it a 4 and recommend it to the action and horror fan.

A super film from a brilliant director. As with the entire series, plenty of action and suspense, blood and savagery. Not for the weak of heart.

Bloodthirsty vengeance is measured out in buckets, not spoonfuls for this hard-hitting vampire movie sequel. The story picks up right where the first UNDERWORLD left off, in the midst of a war between Lycans (werewolves) and vampires, with the gorgeous death-dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale), on the run with her vamp-wolf hybrid lover, Michael (Scott Speedman). The film then leaps back three centuries earlier, revealing the separation of two ultra-bad brothers, one vampire and one Lycan. The Lycan gets locked in a hidden tomb/prison and the feud begins. In the present, the winged vamp brother Marcus (Tony Curran) is determined to find his Lycan sibling and free him, which would wreak unimaginable havoc on the world. Selene's got to stop it, and the result is mayhem. Kate Beckinsale looks great with her jet-black hair, skin-tight leather bodysuit, red lips, and glowing blue eyes. British actors like Sir Derek Jacobi, Bill Nighy, and Steven Mackintosh. The sex and violence may still be a bit intense for youngsters, but for the vampire crowd, it's a movable feast of generous, still-twitching proportions. TO RIGHT!!

brilliant DVD, especially as it recaps on the 1st Underworld. Execellent effect.

Great follow up to the first film. Similar graphics/costumes etc. Excellent storyline (not going to spoil it!).

As with any sequel there is always that concern as to whether it will live up to the origional, but Underworld Evolution really is a great addition to the series.

The story this time shows a lot more history and insight into the Underworld franchise and ties in amazingly with the first film. Delving into the origins of the Corvinus clan and the sons of Alexander Corvinus William and Marcus, One bitten by Wolf the other by Bat to become the first Lycan (Werewolf) and Vampire.

The story follows Selene (Kate Beckinsale) and Michael Corvin (Scott Speedman)as they try to uncover the mystery surrounding the Corvinus clan and attempt to stop Marcus releasing his brother from his eternal prison.

Underworld: Evolution has a great cast including several British actors, returning in their previous rolls are Bill Nighy (Viktor)and Michael Sheen (Lucian) but are also joined by Steven Mackintosh (Andreas Tanis) and Derek Jacobi (Alexander Corvinus) to name but a few.

If you liked the first film or love your action movies with depth and great charactures then the Underworld series is for you.

Brilliant film, cool action, if you like vampires and the sexy Kate Beckinsale then buy along with the first one as both very good although i thought this one was even better

i love vampire films but found with the underworld films (esp the second one) that they were a bit complex.

very similar to the world of darkness books.

I watched this film and i loved it im defiantly ino all the sci fi stuff and this movie i think delivers that.

I like to movie. I watched the first part and I own a copy, I like to watch the second part and own it as well.

If your into vampires and werewolves this is the movie for you, the Scene's are amazing there isn't any cheesy moments the movie is easy to follow and the end leaves you wanting the next installment but don't take my word for it just watch and judge for yourself. i bought this movie to see if it was as good as the last. it was better.

Very entertaing, better than the first movie if that is posible. Fast moving action that leaves you out of breath, a must see sequal.
