Like some of the other reviewers, I first saw this on C4 in the late 90's. I dont think it has ever been repeated.
After years of searching for it, I saw it available on DVD and I had to buy it. It is even better than I remember!

It is only the vehicles, and mobile phones, that you see used in it that date the programme.
There are deep character profiles of the main stars, but always something left to your imagination, or to be discovered later.
The Special Effects would probably be counted as lame these days by some, but are still very effective.

I think the best thing about it is that it makes the unbelieveable, believeable!
As stated before, they dont fight them with wooden stakes, and garlic. The use modern technology, and learn constantly of better ways.

It is X-Files for grown-ups!

My favourite episode, and probably one of the most tense/terrifying scenes ever allowed on television, is Terra Incognita, when Vaughan is locked in a warehouse with four of them about to burst out their coffins, and no way of escape!

The biggest crime ever was that no further series were made.
So many questions unanswered..
I hope you will join me in writing to C4 to "resurrect" the series. 10 years on is a good time to go back and see how the officers at CIB are getting on!

As you watch this, your heart will be thumping loudly, and jumping out of your throat..
If not, your blood will be running ice cold in your veins in the hope they will not smell you!

They look like us. they act like us. For centuries vampires have co-existed with humans. Until now....

Now mankind has the ability to destroy itself, and the vampires need to take control of their threatened food supply. CIB - an elite government force has been formed to combat the threat. But when eternal life is on offer... no one is beyond temptation.

Features all six episodes from the television series:

'Habeas Corpus'
'In Nomine Patris'
'Sub Judice'
'Mea Culpa'
'Terra Incognita'
'Persona Non Grata'
