UB40 - Signing Off (CD 1993)

I already have this Album but on vinyl, but no longer have a player, thats why i purchased it. It,s a brilliant first very mellow and basey. some say they 'sold out' after this Album, as their further recordings were more commercial. My favourate tracks are Tyler and Madam Madusa.

A wonderful slab of British reggae from the UB40 octet. Some simplistic, but infectous offerings as single releases including the sublime, I think its going to rain today.

i have the greatest hits album of ub40 and wanted to hear`some stuff from the early days.
well i bought this album and its great very pleased.
its original and not commercial.
their a couple of non vocal tunes and they are not boring , the instruments used compliment the tunes fully.
the album booklet does not contain much details but thats how albums were presented in the 80s

i know i will be searcing for the next ub40 album soon.

If you were 16 in 1980 this has to be a classic. The production quality is excellent and the tracks as original and of-the-moment as they were then. I signed-on between leaving school and starting working life as an apprentice. This was part of the soundtrack of a brilliant summer, before finally signing-off.

first ub40 album a true classic a must for any true music fans this album is the beginning of a truly fantastic 20+ years for ub40

bought this for remanisssing i had the original on lp when it first came out and also was on the jobs march to downing street that it was promoting along with a band called the beat so glad to have it back in my collection

ub40 debut album if you don,t have a ub40 album this is the one for you
its worth having simply for the great track i think its going to rain today
but full of great tracks all the way through
