UB40 - The Best Of UB40 Vol.1 (CD 1987)

I loved listenin to this cd after losin my copy a while back. it brings back memories and i used to have it on vinyl. i will take more care of this one.

I have always been a fan of UB40 from the beginning. This album brings back so many good memories, its a shame that the brothers have split now. Lets hope they resolve their differences and start giving us the great music they always have. Sort it out you guys !

no scratches and great case condition the tacks play nicely and does not skip and hope i continue getting great usage from this cd

Bought this as I've been a fan of the band since forever, saw them for the first time in 1984 at the NEC and it was, as they say, one of my favourite concerts. This compilation is from 1987.
I've bought this as it features many tracks not released as singles, when the group had a much more "raw", almost ska sound. In later years, I feel that their music, though listenable was more clinical, slick, perfect, commercial (Choose any one word).
Try it, you may not enjoy all of it but it has an almost amateurish, pub band sound which takes me back to when tickets weren't £100 a pop.

This is an album containing the first releases by UB40, all the releases are now classics, for eg, red red wine, kingston town etc. These songs are now all time classics and it doesn't matter on age range, they are so well liked they are still played and appreciated by millions everyday. So if you want an album that has no age range, this is the one for you. This is the 2nd copy of this album I have purchased as the first one recently broke. Sometimes it's nice to go back. It is well liked today and will be in the future.

Have liked UB40 since meeting my husband some 20 years ago,and there music is timeless,this is the second time i have had this cd,as played the other one so much,it became quite scratched and unplayable. and this cd is brilliant

Typically mundane MoR Pop/Reggae from mediocre 80's band. As you might be able to tell, I bought this for a friend's 6 year old who loves Rat in mi kitchen.

I like this album it has got 18 songs on CD but instead of 14 on the eBay description. 'Red Red Wine' was a Tony Tribe revival in 1969.

i love this cd it reminds me of my teenage years i would say it is one of ub40s best ever,when music bring back great memories what else can you for.
