u2 under a blood red sky

One of the best early albums, this is when U2 were a bunch of rebelious men, Some of the best songs. Gloria is a brilliant track, 11 oclock tick tock was and still is a favourite, Party girl is good, and who can forget Sunday bloody Sunday (although it states that it is not a rebel song). New years day has just been remixed and so hopefully people will want to hear the original, the edge has guitar skills that make your hairs stand up on the back of your neck! Although as far as i can gather "under a blood red sky" is a live recorded album the crowd cheering does not take your mind off of the music and Bono's singing talents. This album and a few of the others are my definate favourites, and are timeless. To me personally U2, Sex pistols, undertones etc started indie groups, they are not rock. But had a massive influence on the music industry, I am not suprised that they have done so well and hope that they continue to do so in the future although they have become very commercialised now. I personally prefer the early releases and have every U2 album released. I have been into this group from the age of 12 and still listen to them regularly and am almost 40. This album is well worth getting and i know that who ever listens to it will thoroughly enjoy it. Absolutely excellent. Oh and good luck to snow patrol. We wish them the luck of the irish. which i might add I am not!
