Music is so very subjective. Chances are I would not enjoy some of the mainstream pop music, although I am sure many get great pleasure from modern tracks.

In my opinion O type negative come across as a very heavy rock/goth sound, and I love it.
I found this album powerful, uplifting and very inspiring.

Usually I tend to listen to classic rock, I particuarly enjoy Black Sabbath, Led Zep AC/DC, (the usual suspects). However, I got a lot more out of this CD than just good rock. The guitar sound is wonderfully distorted, with great rifts. I am sure several musical rules are broken, but it does seem to work. I felt that throughout all the songs existed a deliberate theme of hypnotic rythems with such gutso and feeling I wanted to replay again and again.

The listings follow a theme on the writers emotions in relationships unfortunately I struggled to understand all the lyrics.

A real treat is an absolutely superb and original cover of Cinnimun Girl.

I guess anyone curious should check out a you tube search.

By the way, the group play a joke on the listener, the first track is nothing but white noise, they then laugh and introduce the album, I wonder how many people just turned the boom box off before getting to the music?

regards.

Dave
