Most people assume that Folk music is like country and western music...or hippy-fied.
This is modern day folk music and you will find neither sounds like this album. It combines all the subtleness of the popular alternative sound at the minute, with a foot into the experimental / electronic rock scene, and a sprucing of sampling, previously only seen a few years back from the avalanches.
This wont make you get upand boogie, but it will de-stress you after work, and will keep your floaty spirit soaring high.

) If it wasn't for my great record shop girl, i'd never listen to this record, because i generally hate folk music, and is there that i found the review of this album.... But, by the first listening, it was LOVE, true appassionate LOVE.
It's something like the last Notwist, had listened to a million english folk music song, and entered in the record study...
Take this album without doubt: his warmth will catch u by the first notes...
