The Transporter (DVD 2004)

Fast paced, full on action film with terrific fight sequences and car chases. Jason Statham is great as the cool and charismatic Frank, the transporter, no questions asked. He breaks his own rule of not looking at what is in the boot and when he sees what is in there, his conscience intervenes with dangerous consequences for himself. The action is non stop and keeps you on the edge of your seat and the martial arts fighting is slick and inventive.

Put your seat belt on and enjoy the ride!

This is a really good film, which good action sequences, Jason Statham is cool and the woman Shu Qi is really cute and has a personality. Although there are similar films anyone who likes James Bond films or Die Hard will like this type of film.

The Transporter was Jason Stathams first film after his move to Hollywood, and he hit the big time. He is a master of martial arts in true life, so is perfect as the tough guy. The story is a good all action chase film.

Cool fast-paced film with all the great action packed scenes. About a guy who earns a livings transports what ever people want within reason for a price. He gets a job but unfortunately this job he is told not to check the package. He does and from then finds himself in a whole leap of trouble.

i love this film is really good, its funny and fun, you see great driving skills and stunt keeps you on your toes excellent to watch.

one of his best films to date brill high speed car chases and even better fight scenes id put this on par with the bourne identity and bourne supremecy

I bought this film on recommendation. I love films with lots of action and this one didn't let me down from start to finish

i like this film as i like all action type films, i watched it when it first came out and liked it, then when transporter 2 came out i bought it, so then i wanted to by the first one to complete my collection, were better to look than ebay, i won this item on ebay for a very low price, and it was great.

This first movie of the Transporter series is by far the most rememberable and fanstastic.
Everything in the movie from the combat scenes and the realistic car stunts and stunning choreography were all you can ask for. I don't think he'll be able surpass this treasure of the film.
I adore, the relationship between frank with the asian woman, it really made the film. In short, I can't say enough about this film: Jason Statham has become one of my favorite action male actors.

its a great film, with a great actor(jason statham) he is one off my all time favourite actors, absolutly class, transporter 1,2 and 3 are all great films

Found this a little funny at times but not to the tast of the whole family. This is a bit over the top on the action. You tell whats going to happen next. Its the 1st of 3 but the other half said it the best of them.

This first in the trilogy (so far),brings the fantasy of the "Bad Boy" with rules & standards to life. Jason Statem is the ultimate anti- hero in this all action,boy racer,stunt lovers movie.
The fact that there is a storyline of sorts is not the point. It is the stunt driving and fight action scenes that make the film along with a certain wry humour at Mr Statems predicament and his need to try and keep some form of order in his day to day dealings by imposing rules & conditions both on himself and those dodgy characters who employ him. A good movie for a dull evening that leaves you wanting to see " Transporter 2"

The film is an excellent action movie, full of great acting and excellent fighting scences all the way through that will keep you glued to your seats. Another great film with the unbealivable sexy and hot Jason Stathem

packed with action, humour, and violence! jason statham is hot! he plays a good role in this movie and i couldnt take my eyes away! always something happening in this movie, never got bored! worth watching!!

great fighting and car scenes!! Jason whatever his name is is a good actor does stunts himself too.... silly fight in a plane where it spirals outta control as they are fighting! spoils the film ! but fun

88 minutes of pure escapism, grab a couple of beers, a comfy chair and sit back and enjoy a fast paced all action thriller. Do not get into worrying if it seems a bit far fetched, it is ! but just enjoy it for what it is, a gutsy fast moving action packed thriller, even the wife sat and really enjoyed it !

Fast paced, amazing driving and a beautiful car not forgetting the handsome Jason Statham, everything a girl loves.
Settle down on the sofa and watch the story unfold, the boys will enjoy it to, loads of car chases and as always a pretty lady to keep them happy.

Jason Statham is well known in the all action hard man movie roles, and in The Transporter, he really excels in that role. He plays an "anything can be delivered for a price!" underworld delivery man, hence - The Transporter! :)

Straight from the start the film races into the all out, car screeching, gun toting, explosive action! The car chases amongst other stunts are superb, and the best thing about The Transporter that usually lets films like this down is that the story line is believable and fits perfectly all the way through the film. No outlandish stupid twist or over acted stunt scenes. So if you like action films, even if your not a fan of the Hollywood car chase, believe me, you will be glued to this. I won't let the cat out of the bag or anything out of the car boot (???), or it might just spoil the suspense of the storyline. Excellent, Must have film!! :)

Fantastic action movie, Jase is ace as the Transporter yet again, had only seen the 2nd one! but was great to watch this one first! now I can watch one after the other! ;o) there's no-one else for the role apart from Jason Statham, he's cool he's calm and he's collected Mr. CCC @ your service! what more can you ask for, he's our very own 007/Bond! ace film and fantastic to watch, how does he do it?! excellent film, great entertainment, action packed throughout, remember not to break those rules! these ones should NOT be broken! highly recommend this film, give it a try, especially if you like action etc as it is right to the end! top notch! give it a whirl.

Good action movie, Jason Statham plays his role very well. Worth watching. Same can be said for the sequel.
