Transformers - The Movie (DVD 2003)

From a nostalgic point of view, this film is really good. It has nearly everything you remember from the Transformers of your youth. The animation doesn't live up to todays standards, but it still looks good and you can really see the detail in some scenes.

The film follows the 'planet' Unicron's destruction of everything in it's path, while the Decepticons and the Autobots fight their usual fight.

I enjoyed the film and anyone watching it as a throwback to their past will enjoy it too, but you might find that it's not really a film for younger viewers, considering what they're used to watching!

As all the boys are mad on transformers again and the new films at the cinema for Transformers are a 12 certificate rating! This movie in cartoon format is great for younger ones. My son who is 5 has it and we bought this one for his best friend for his birthday. I was told my his mum, that he was on cloud nine when he opened it and has not stopped watching it! A great buy!

Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included.

My son (age 5) is mad about Transformers, so this DVD was perfect for him. The heroic Autobots are let by the transforming truck Optimus Prime who fights with Megatron. Great stuff for little boys with big imaginations. A very good animation film. ****.

Every body loves tranformers the movie when i was a kid i watched it every saturday morning .now I have a young brother who is 6 years old he likes transformers he likes optimus prime thats why i got him this dvd

i watched this first as a kid and i still love it.its one of those cartoons that doesnt age.i would rather watch this than the disapointing 'live action' transformers movie made recently.its got a great 80's sound track,action,drama,emotional scenes,and the animation doesnt look tacky n old....it's just great!!if ur a fan of more grown up animation then u'll love it.

It has an awesome boxset, comes with scramble city secret episode n the 2nd disc, the discs have unicorn on them and it is just a gorgeous boxset, and it is perfect for anyone who likes/loves transformers!

My children watched this film yesterday. Even that i'm 41 years old i got stuck with it aswell. I watched it all the way till the end.

I suppose it is my fault but I thought this was the movie when I bought it and it was the animated version, which isn't very good - I was really disappointed.

i took my soin to see this when it came out at the cinema he really enjoyed well to be honest we all did i wasnt sure if i would personally myself at first until it started properly its great entertainment for young and old these days and i am glad i bought it personally as it keeps my son happy

I bought this for my 7 year old son whos into transformers.
He was over the moon with it and loves it.

My Son is a big power ranger and tranformer fan so we decided to buy him the animated movie for his Christmas as stocking filler, he is only 5 at end Jan but he really enjoyed the film.

it is a good movie nd my son loves transformers so he was really pleased to get the movie. also it was a great price.

i wanted this for my son as i had it when i was a boy its a classic transformers the movie he watches it all the time and me 2 sometimes
