Transformers (DVD)

To start of, to anyone that thinks this is a kids film, WRONG!
But im not saying its a full on adult film either dont get me wrong, if you liked transformers when you were younger, then you will love this, from the cinematography down to the visuals and the soundtrack.
The HD-DVD version of this film in my opinion, is better than the Blu-Ray equivalant that has just been released, for one it has a couple of extra features that the Blu-Ray doesn't and the sound some how seems clearer, but maybe thats down to my sound system I dont know, but the film is just as enjoyable on Blu-Ray.

But above all that the film is excellent, if you like your rollercoaster no real brainer flicks that you can just switch off and lose yourself in a darkened room then get it, either HD-DVD (R.I.P) or the Blu-Ray edition is a must to enjoy the film at its utmost capacity, oh, and 1080p. ;)

This film is excellent. The action scenes are second to none! The graphics are amazing, especially when the machines are transforming. Even better in HD if your willing to pay a bit more.Either wqay it is an excellent film.

I waited from the moment I saw this film in the cinema, to the day it came out on HD DVD in the US, to get this imported! If you have not seen the Transformers movie at all... WHY? and if you haven't seen it in 1080p, then you will definitely want to watch it again! Not only is this the blockbuster of 2007, and Michael Bay's most extraordinary work yet, it is quite possibly the most spectacular movie I have ever seen. Forget about transformers being those silly toys you used to play with or the idea that 'you can't possibly make a convincing movie out of that'... watch it and you will love it. The story is remarkably believable, bringing you in touch with the individual characters that are the Autobots, and Decepticons. You will find yourself yelling under your breath at the TV, willing on this epic fight, only to then be left speechless at the jaw-dropping special effects and stunt work. Masterclass performances from young star Shia LaBeouf, also Josh Duhamel, and John Voight give this movie the cast it deserves.

Available on normal DVD, this is an absolute must have for any high definition videophile, if anything to show off the ability of that brand new HDTV! great film, special effects are stunning in full HD, if you have seen this on DVD and liked it you will love it on blu ray.

I decided to buy it because it is one of my favourite films. I wanted to see how much better it was in HD. I wasnt disappointed.

The film is well made and it brings back memories of being a kid watching the original cartoon. Can't wait for the second film to hit the streets. What can I say if you enjoy action and adventure not to mention the CGI and Sci-fi then this film is a must.

This film was made for Blu Ray. The robots look even better than on the normal DVD, and Megan Fox in Hi Def - can there be any sight better

Sadly I ended up with a fake Blu Ray copy purchased from a seller on eBay and it is terrible. Grainy, poor packing and honestly has now put me right off.

Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. The kid in me loves Transformers and with the sequel not that far away, I would suggest this to anyone with a slight Scifi streak in them.

Loved this film from the cinema to the DVD but watching the HD-DVD Just kicked up a notch. Sounds better, pictures crisper and the it overall enhances the films quality. Top viewing!!!!!

If they movie only consisted of shots of the transformers, the movie woul be my favourite of all time. Sadly, they saw fit to include elements of a teen romantic comedy. Why? because an executive somewhere said "if we dont include human elements surely nobody will want to see giant robots" what he didnt realise was that the only reason people will go to watch it was for the giant robots.

i hope you'll agree its far from a masterpiece, but its still very, very entertaining to watch.

this Transformers (DVD)HD not working on my comupter, playstation3 & new HD dvd cinema system... there was no good informacion about this item. or mayby this transformers not working?? it was the worst transacion purchase this year.
